Lindsay Lohan: Never enough assassination movies!

95330__lj_l_1Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto have sparked rumors that they're dating, but maybe they're just rehearsing. They're starring in Chapter 27, a movie about the assassination of John Lennon. Leto will play killer Mark David Chapman, and Lohan will play a Lennon fan who unwittingly befriends him on the weekend before the shooting. That makes two eve-of-assassination movies for Lohan, who's also starring in Emilio Estevez' RFK-themed Bobby. Don't tell Oliver Stone, but we hear the teen star was also in Dallas in November 1963.

how sick that lindsay lohan is dating jared leto. she's an aweful, ugly, disturbed, idiot who for no reason whatsoever should be dating jared.

So true. I hope the movie doesn't make any money. Stupid Hollywood, fake people with stupid, unethical brains. Ugghh...I know a lot of people who already hates this movie and its possible message. Let's hope people out there, americans, aren't stupid enough to fall for this movie or to even waste their money on a movie that could possibly gear their minds the wrong way. Lindsay Lohan...ehh..she's a little too bitchy for me. No guy wants a bitchy girl, no matter how hot they are..shoot...

Its pretty damn rediculous that they are glorifying something as tragic as what happened to dear John lennon. On top of that Lindsay lohan and jared leto?? come on...She is the essence of what John lennon would have made fun of. And that she...a beatles fan?? now you and i both know...she is no true beatles fan... come on. And to make it seem as though it wasent mark david chapmans fault?? ohh gosh it just makes me angry that this is even being filmed or thought of or...AHHH its bad very bad. John wouldnt want anything to do with this. How is this peaceful?? he was all about peace..this is not peace this is..tragic.

I find the thought of this movie even being made as repulsive as it gets. It should have NEVER been made because all it does is try to romantisize a cold blooded killer who snuffed out one of the greatest musical minds in our lifetime. For Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto playing these characters is perhaps not a good move for their careers. Most of John's fans have taken an oath to never say his murderer's name in public so that he would never get the fame that he so desperately desired for this senseless killing. Now some morons in Hollywood want to make this slimeball the subject of a movie which brings his name right into the light as he wanted. I'm sure he is very happy with what the producers did with this film. He finally gets the attention that he never deserved. Thanks alot Hollywood.

Actually, what I find offensive is that they would make this character in any way sympathetic. He's a psycho and he killed a great man. What more do we want to know? Do we really want people getting rich off this tragedy? Of all the real life events to make a movie out of, this strikes me as the worst idea for a film EVER.

any "JFK" reference is a good reference.
bravo

um, not really. It's more offensive to purposely make a bad guy a ugly, fat slob just to make them seem worse.

EP Sato Thu, Nov 3, 2005 at 01:33 PM EST

Do we really need a movie that glorifies and humanizes the psychotic yahoo who killed John Lennon? And to glorify the guy by having a hot A lister play him is an insult. Why would anyone want to make money off such a tragedy?

Let's say someone made a biopic about the guys who crashed the planes in 911 and had the roles of the terrorists go to Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn. Offensive, right?
