i hope james lipton asks dave what the hell he was thinking. I understand that every generation has that one funny black guy, and maybe he did not want to be that guy. And maybe the pressure was a little too much,a point to which i may never be able to comprehendm, but dave chappelle is a genius. To back out now would be the same thing as if the wright brothers had never tried to fly, or as if einstein just woke up one day and said " f#ck it" and started whoring. It is a seeming tragedy that his fans can not endulge in his creativity any longer.

JIM CARREY! more acting credibility in his pinkie than all these other "actors" combined. plus, he'd be a great guest. if robin williams got 2 hours, they might need a miniseries just to fit in all the great footage Jim will have.

I'd love to see Ben Browder talk about his experience on Farscape and in general, how he had to change so many times to be true to the character. How it felt to be the new Buck Rogers only more real...

He is a better actor than most people think... He is a gem in the industry and he should get recognized as such.

If I get the chance to work with him, I'd count it as one of my highlight of my career...

Why does he never discuss their flops? I really wanted to see Sean Penn discuss 'Shangai Suprise', but he never did. Where did they think it went wrong, why did they choose that picture? Makes the students think every movie they ever have done is fabulous. Learning from failures is important.

I would love to see Cher on the actor's studio, but, since she is not promoting a record or movie -- I doubt she would do it now.

ITAS has scrapped the bottom of the barrel with some guests in the last year or so. I don't think they can get big-named actors and actresses so they have to go with people like JLo.

I am so glad someone finally said something, Cliff. I am getting sich and tired of non-actors on this show. The only episodes that I'll probably watch of the new season are Al Pacino and Queen Latifah (even though I'm not sure Latifah has enough under her belt to warrant being on the show, but she's a fine actress). I miss when you could tune into the show and be treated to greatness. Even great directors would be more welcome than two hours with Billy Joel or Sir Elton John. Amen for the Frances McDormand reference, as well as Albert Finney.

Can we put some restrictions on this show? Maybe age 45, or 30 years as an ACTOR, whichever comes first. What is Martin Lawrence going to talk about for an hour? Big Momma's House? Bad Boys? Why can't we get a guest like Nicole Kidman, or Bill Murray, or Diane Keaton? Too much J.Lo, not enough Frances McDormand. Too much Mark Wahlberg, not enough Albert Finney.
