its taken me 8yrs to get over my childrens father painfull as it may be though recently i came across a show called the gilmore girls and it took me to another place, i felt free alive, and actual happiness i started to feel like waking up in the mornings i had something else to think about in the day time eccept for there father and then all of a sudden a booming light came over me and put me right back to were i was previously now my life feels nothing just pain and loss thank you lauren graham for giving me some happiness please dont change that charecters personlity in other parts of your acting carreer

I really got hooked on this show and am sad that it has been cancelled. It is so much better than all the other shows on TV. The cast has so much talent and never got the credit I believe so strongly that they deserved. I really don't know what is wrong with Hollywood? They keep the stupid shows and cancel the best one? Pretty convoluted.

As sad as it may seem, I think it's time that they ended the show. I have watched it through the years and loved it but when the original writers left, the show went down the drain. Now that Rory is close to ending college, they should close the curtain on this exilerating world, and leave us saying, "It should have kept going!" instead of, "They should have ended it a long time ago."

I would like to say I am a big fan of the show and I just have a few suggestions and thoughts.I think that the Lorelai and Chris charade should stop.From the beginning you could tell Luke had more chemistry with Lorelai than Chris did.I also think they should give Rory and Logan a end before the show stops.If we just left off with them dating and Logan in London there is no closure.I know this has been decided but I really hope Luke gets parcial custody of April.She is his daughter.Just some thoughts for you.

I'm Gilmore Girls biggest fan. I love the quick wit, the fast talk, I'm 50 years old, and I absolutely live for this show. OK, I know it's a TV show, but it's unique to any other, and it challenges me. My daughter(30) and all her friends, and even my husband, we're all addicted. Don't Cancel. It would be so tragic. We'd all have to live in reruns forever. Also, from the very first episode, it's been Luke and Loralai. Please don't continue this charade between Loralai and Christopher.It's as if they are trying too hard. Give us fans what we want!! Luke and Loralai forever!! Don't try to force this Chris thing on us. It's NOT WORKING!!Their time has past a season or so ago. It's always been Luke and Loralai!! No no no.... Gilmore Girls has some of the best (and quick witted) humour on TV.
But... I am really put off by the way the season ended! Lorelai has got to get over this Christopher thing..... He is just an arrogant jerk of a character that Lorelai should be over by now... Especially if she is serious about Luke... She may be hurt by his reactions to his new daughter... But that is no reason to jump into bed with Christopher again.... (He always slithers into the picture when he knows he can take advantage)... Please have the new season start with Lorelai only having fallen asleep... or SOMETHING that will not mess up the relationship between her and Luke. I have been waiting for them to get together for sooo long.... Dont mess it up now! The show could still do very well with Lorelai married to Luke... (Usually the death of a show)... but this is one connection that many of us have been rooting for.

Its such a shame that Amy and Dan are leaving. Gilmore girls is like the only show i HAVTO catch everyweek or else. Its so smart and ASP is the one who made it the way it is. Undoubtfully season 7 wont be as good as the first 6 but hopefully it will at least maintain its gilmoreness.

I'm 12 years old and i love this show it's the only show on know a days that doe not include all that stuff.and the writting in this show is the best and Luaren G and Alexis Bledel play the parts so good it's like they are mother and duaghter. During the summer I watch the seasons of Gilmore Girls over and over agian and if this show stops I would not be able to watch the seasons over and over agian becuase I would now how the show ends. G.G is my favorite show.I'm 12 years old. I think Logan and Rory should get married. I would hate to see it end.Jess is a total jerk. Logan is the guy for rory. They should get married and have kids. Im glad the season is greenlighted. We all need at least one more season of these girls. And with Rory and Jess back together the land of Gilmore is going to be a much more AWESOME place. Im sorry to all of you Logan fans, but Logan is a cheater and he's pompous. Rory isnt concieted or ungrateful about her family's wealth and I think its smart to pair her with someone intelligent and humble. Jess and Rory have unparalelled chemistry and all that needs to happen is for Jess to grow up. It looks like Amy and Dan are allowing Jess to mature, which is a great thing. Rory is a dynamic character and needs to be with another dynamic character. Rory and Jess are ace. And Im SO looking forward to next season.

I just wanted to agree with all of you who think that Rory and Logan belong together! Her and Jess are a horrible match! If you think that her and Logan have an up and down relationship, the one with Jess is worse, with all of his mood swings and last minute decisions. I mean he just took off on her and when he is not happy with something that is not his concern, watch out! Logan is way more dependable than Jess and has a better chance of helping Rory with her career! Plus Rory is familiar with his situation since his home life is very similar to Loreli when she was growing up. Also if Luke and Loreli get married how wierd would it be if she was with Jess?

ok so with all the crap that is on tv today, Gilmore Girls should try to continue to play for as long as possible. i think it would be ashame if Gilmore Girls ended in fewer seasons then 7th Heaven. don't get me wrong i liked 7th Heaven, however Gilmore Girls is so much better. there are so many options to spin off from. i love this show, and i would love to see it go on for at least 4 more seasons. come on make it to ten then at least it would be tied with 7th Heaven.

I am 61 years old and Gilmore Girls is my absolute favorite TV show. After I discovered it, I watched all the previous seasons' reruns to catch up on the story line. Like everyone else, I hopelessly hope it never ends, but I plan to enjoy every minute of it while it lasts. From reading all the comments, it sounds like this is one show that appeals to all ages. I think most everything on TV these days is trash, but this is a show that is totally worth not missing.

I love this show. I don't want to see it cancelled. Luke and Lorelai should get married, as well as Logan and Rory. There are so many things that could be done for more seasons, like luke and lorelai having kids, and rory and logan traveling and working on the newspaper together, and even having their own kids. I don't want to see the show end. Gilmore Girls is my favorite show and I would hate to see it end. I have all five seasons and its all I watch. But I know it can't go on forever. I do however think that if the palladinos are willing to keep it going and the actors are willing to keep going then they should keep it going for as long as they can and for as long as the viewers are willing to put up with it. But whatever the choice i'm sure Amy has somthing big cooked up for the series finale.

i absolutely love gilmore girls! i always watch it i have seasons 1-5 and i watch them every day. in school i do reports on favorite actresses and they are usually lauren graham and alexis bledel. i would hope amy and dan would keep writing the show. i would hope to end the series with loreali married to christopher and rory married to jess. when marty was part of the show i always saw them together so that is also who i want her with.

I can't remember the last time my mom liked and watched the same shows I did. Gilmore Girls actually brought us closer. Every Tuesday instead of staying in the park watching my brother play soccer, I rush my dad to take me home so I don't miss Gilmore Girls on at 8:00pm. Since I'm usually busy, I don't have time for TV. And most shows are really boring. Gilmore Girls changed that. It's just so funny! I'm a G.G. freak! I try talking as fast as they can with eachother with my mom! I try copying the same jokes they say! I bought the G.G. handy-book 101. Gilmore Girls brings so much laughter into the world! They can't end it now. D: Then I would become someone lost. :P But seriously, so many people LOVE G.G.! When I visited Colombia, all my cousins there were always watching it! They even learned alot of english with the show!

Like everyone else, I totally agree the show must stay!!! The Palladinos are amazing writers of the show and are ready to move on? That would be like "suicide" ending such a fabulous show when its at its peak!!!! So season 6 is knocking everyone off course but it will get back on track, its not totally ruined. I think all the cast has to stay, no one should leave including Christopher who after all is party of why Rory exists!!!

I've been watching Gilmore Girls since the inception,and I also watch the previous seasons on ABC Family. Indeed I record each day's episode on ABC Family and watch it last thing before I go to bed as it always puts me in a good mood. Gilmore Girls is (or at least has been) the wittiest show on televsion.

The current season has some superb plot elements--the engagement of Luke and Lorelai and the discovery of Luke's daughter--but for some reason the season just doesn't seem as good as the others. The dialogue doesn't seem quite as witty, and I find myself dreading the possibility that Luke and Lorelai, after all this time, will let it all fall apart. I would very much like to see them live happily ever after. That doesn't mean that I don't want to see them have any conflicts, but remember that Lucy and Ricky had plenty of conflicts yet remained essentially married happily ever after.

I have to agree with those who don't like Logan; he is a rich, spoiled pretty-boy. Rory would be much better off without Logan and his entire benighted family in her life. Now we find out that Logan is a serial cheater on top of being a rich, spoiled, pretty-boy. Rory deserves better, although when she had better (Dean) she threw him away for tough, dangerous and abusive (Jess). I'd like Rory to find her way back to Dean, but given that the actor who plays Dean has his own tv show now, that seems unlikely. In any case given the way that Rory has twice dumped Dean for some jerk, I'm pretty sure that Dean is too good for Rory.

I would rather watch, and do watch the other seasons I have on DVD then most of the new programs out there. I truely hope this show doesn't get cancelled after the 7th season and in my opinion, the original writers/creators should stay with the show. They are as a much a part of the show as the charactors they write about. I understand that they already have the series finally in there heads when the time comes, probably with Rorys graduaton from Yale but I think there are so many other story lines out there afterwards. Rory's first job, marrage, babies. Lorreli and Luke maybe having babies, raising April(who is an awful lot like a young Rory)because something fatal happens to her mom or because April wants to live with them. Emily and Richard having to deal with a step-grandchild. The possibilities are endless and that's just with a fraction of the charactors. JMHO

PLEASE DO NOT end the Gilmore Girls show... No matter whatt some people say about 4th season, i loved them all... I watch all the reruns and i enjoy them. Whenever it is the time for Gilmore Girls, I leave everything i have to do to watch them... I can't imagine how would it be if the show ends.
I really like the idea of luke and laralai together, but that show would not be the same if we do not see some drama. It is the part of the show to end relationships and build them up again
i love the mother/daughter relationship btw loralai and rory. I enjoy watching each and every one episode..
i want luke to stay with lorali at the end, and rory could stay with dean or logan..
i don't know what do people say about logan(matt), but i think that he is a real cutie.

This show has such as positive impact on people in so many different ways. For me, it is an escape into another world; yet it's not so far away from reality that I feel like I can't relate. In fact, the most desirable aspect of Gilmore Girls is it's sense of realness and quirkiness (a nice bonus) that truly sets it apart from any other show. It will be such a major letdown if the show ends.
Note to the writer: make Gilmore your life's work! I think a real challenge not only involves creating something truly meaningful and unique, but also being able to stick with it and support it no matter what - and that means challenging yourself to discover and explore all the different ideas and possibilities that can be pursued. Gilmore has A LOT more seasons ahead of itself... and we all can't wait to see! :)

I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS. I am currently stationed in Korea and I have just about everyone stuck on the GILMORE GIRLS. We are not able to watch the most current episodes over here. I really wish we could because this is my favorite show. Don't end the Gilmore Girls. I like Rory with Logan. Yeah sometimes he gets out of control, but I think he is what Rory needs. Their differences combined makes a perfect couple. Dean was a pushover and Jess tried to push over her. So that's why they should be together. Lorelai should get back with Christopher. Without her, he seems like nothing. I liked Luke, but lately he's been messing up. He needs to get it together. Yeah, Luke's daughter came in the picture but all the planning Lorelai did should not have went un-noticed. Please dont let down all of us GILMORE GIRLS FANS. KEEP THE SHOW GOING WITH THE SAME CAST.

i think that gilmore girls Rocks. I am 14 and it is the only thing that will get me through the school day, knowing i can come home sit down and watch my fav. show gilmore girls(weekdays at 4 on abc family and 7 on the WB tuesday.) it is the best show that is around. I dont know how earlier generations lived without it. I also think rory should dump logan and get back together with Jess, nobody knew Rory like jess, i can picture them together more than i can rory and logan, and plus rory believed in jess more than anybody that shows signs of true love.

I love the gilmore girls and have watched since they started airing it here in England. I am disappointed that they don't air more episodes and hang on for the one's they do. I am often forced to watch the re-runs. It's pathetic I know, however,it's better than no Gilmore Girls. Please can something be done to wake the T.V exec's up over here and send some more episodes to me pronto. It is only being screened on Sky (hallmark) on weekends at present. Surely I'm not the only person in England that thinks this.

i have beem obsessed with this show since the pilot was aired.the relationship between lorelai&rory remind me of my relationship with my mom,she had me when she was only 15 and has done a wonderful job as a mother and best friend.
i have some recomendations:bring jess back!!!!!!he brings out the best in rory.also lorelai & luke should get married.all fans have known they belonged together since the pilot episode.
amy & dan have done a great job with their witty scrips. if any one new comes in dont change anything about the characters.
my friends and i are all obsessed with this show.we all watch reruns on abc family every day @ 5 & watch new episodes every tuesday @ 8.
good job guys keep up the good work!

Please, please, please do not end this show! I am totally and hopelessly in love with it. I watch the re-runs evreyday and I watch the new episodes every tuesday. Lauren and Alexis do such a good episode and they suit their characters perfectly.
I think that Rory belongs with Dean and that Lorelia belongs with Luke. My heart was completely breaking when Lorelia and Rory got into that big fight. Just please, please, please don't end Gilmore Girls!!!

I love the show... I never miss an episode. I am so happy with this season. I think Luke and Lorelai are perfect, and I really like Logan. I think that the two of them make a perfect couple. Dean is such a wimp. He's hott and all, but just the fact that he slept with Rori when he was married makes him a loser. I dont care if it WAS with Rori. Logan is perfect for her. I enjoy Gilmore Girls just as much as all of you! I started watching at college in 2001 and got hooked on it! My sister and I watch it all the time. Something about Lorelai makes me laugh and Rory is so sweet and honest and has a little bit of us in her.She is smart,honest,flawless in a way,and her role model seems to be her mom. I love Jess! I loved Dean too! One of them should come back and kick out Logan. Rory is not herself with him. Luke is great with Lorelai,but I also liked Max.Who knows? She should find commitment to someone! great show love lorelai and rory. lauren and alexis are the main draw to this show. luke and kirk bring in an element to the the show, emily and richard bring in a twist.michele and sookie are also verry key to the show.amy and dan may be gone from the show (hopefully not totally)as this is one of two tv shows i can sit down and watch with my daughter and enjoy.

ok, first of all, i'm addicted to this show i have been since day one! I'm a 12 year old and i've been addicted since i was like 9! I love this show because unlike other shows this isn't like a teen drama, and it's something that a lot of people can't relate to, i think thats part of it's appeal to people. I mean how many people do you know that's parents got pregnant young and raised you themselves and you have a mom who's the coolest and your best friend that you share everything with! it's such a witty and intellegant show and it's mainly such a success, not only because of the group of incredible actors but the writing and producing! I hope that they don't cancel it. It is my new show that 7th Heaven is leaving after its 10 season. I really don't like Logan with Rory. He doesn't seem to be her type.... I think that Chris (Rory's father) should come into the show more often than he is. If they do cancel it I guess I will have to watch all of the re-runs. Also I would like to see Dean come back to the show with Rory. I hope that Lorelai will find out that she doesn't want to marry Luke due to his child. Thank-you for such an intellegent, witty and touching show. I was very pregnant and on bed rest with my oldest child when the first episode aired. I was instantly hooked. The writing is unmatched on television or thr big screen, but the acting is what really brings it home for me. Please continue to put out quality shows. Lets face it, there arn't too many out there.
Just one thing. I've noticed some clearly anti-christian sentiments in some of the writing. Nothing huge, but it seems out of place and almost as though someone on the writing staff may have a personal agenda. Thats just the way it seems to me. I don't expect the girls to start attending church or anything, but maybe just lay off coments like: "I'm sick of hime (Jesus) and Mel Gibson." It's a little off-putting.
Other than that, Gilmore Girls is the most entertaining and inspiring show on T.V. You've created unforgettable characters who are easy to care about. Thanks for that. Even my two year old daughter is a huge fan. As soon as she hears "If you're out on the road...," she runs into the living room and plants herself on the couch. What can I say? Good taste runs in the family.
Anyway keep up the great work.

Please don't postpone Luke and Lorelia's wedding that was so disappointing in last weeks episode. It made the show like a daytime soap and its just way way way more than that...I love Rory with Logan he is a great addition to the show and I agree with everyone else we need the writers to remain. Im missing Richard and Emily they haven't been on in awhile and April is gonna be a great addition as well. Gilmore Girls is one of the few programs out there that I really enjoy watching. I've been wondering if the show would finish in 2006; with a wedding for Luke & Lorelei and Rory graduating and heading off into the world...

I really love this show and as all the fans I'll be sad to see it finish down the line.

But I would like to say that when the time does come to end the show PLEASE end it on a high note! Don't let it drag on and on until it becomes boring... Give all of your loyal fans all the laughter, tears and joy we crave when the final shows are written and taped. My daughter has always watched the Gilmore Girls reruns. She wanted me to watch them w/ her. This X-mas I got her season 4 and we watched them together. Now I love the show as much as her. We now own season 1-5 and can't wait for season 6. I love the characters Luke and Lorelai.You have very patient watchers. I think it would have been hard watching this show for 5 years waiting for the perfect couple to get together. I hope the writers don't break them up they need to stay together and have kids. I think a lot fans will be very disappointed if you break up this happy couple. Christophere Rory father's take him out of Lorelai's life. But i also didn't believe it because im only going to believe it until the WB11 says its over. Gilmore Girls is an exceptionally tasteful and interesting television show. The writing is so unique and creative that it is truely entertainment at its best. Why put an end to such a successful storyline? I believe the plot has more of a journey to take its viewers on even after season 7. Please do not cancel Gilmore Girls. I dearly love this show.
