I totally love GD... Is just a lie that the others cd of GC like dookie are better than American Idiot cos I have both and personally I like American Idiot tha' most. I totally need Tha' URL of this video to put it on my space.

The video was great! Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell did an amazing job! And the song rocks. Green Day is just a great band. I love their newest album American Idiot, but my favorite album is Nimrod. I don't think Green Day has changed at all, I think that they decided to write about what is going on in the world right now, and they always write about how they feel about things, and they've written some damn hilarious songs (ex. King For A Day). But no matter what, they always pull it off. Billie Joe, Mike and Tre kick ass and are just musical geniuses. GREEN DAY ROCKS!!!!!!!

hmm.. okayyy green day is an amazing band. or acutally, was. there old stuff was just good, there the ultimate punks. from FOD to the grotch, they clearly dont care about what any of us think. we care to much about what other people think, okay to the point. the video, i would probably consider it really good if it were by another band. so,yeah its a good video. it just makes me sad that green day made it so far, and then started becoming so, different. I guess thats what bands do these days. but, I dont see what this has to do with the rest of the cd, so the song is about his dads death? put it on another Cd.

Chad and iProd should shut up, first, wtf? they're not from Warner Bros. actually, Kerplunk was the best Green Day album. maybe someone (Chad) should look before mainstream Dookie for on educated opinion.

I do agree that the video was just okay. Evan Rachel Wood is over-rated, but Jamie Bell was fantastic! The song isn't my favorite on the album though.

Green Day is trying to be the next U2?! Hahaha i laugh! Who would want to be them? U2 can't get past Bono's huge ego to get respect from anyone other than people who were in college when they started out.

That was boring, the song was boring, the video was boring and Evan Rachel Wood was seriously misused as the smalltown Avril.

Billie lacks any amount of charisma or stage presence that it takes to sell a song and he needs to lose the eyeliner, he's gotting be heading to 40 soon.

Dookie was their only good album and that's only true because I was a freshman in high school.

They should give up on their dream of being the "Next U2" or the biggest band in the world, cuz it's not gonna happen with whiny, syrupy sap crap like that.

P.S. TimeWarner owns EW and Warner Bros. records (GD's label) so no wonder the praise.

It's not THAT good guys. It's actually kind of cheesy(dialogue expecially, and doesn't really bring anything new or fresh to the video format. The song's okay though, and it's tough to argue against the fact that these are two excellent young actors.

Green Day rules. They could tour with Hall and Oates and I'd still respect them. I was moved to tears during the video and people stopped my my desk and watched it too. All too scary and surreal.
