155919__br_lWhoa! Bananarama has a new single!?! They're still together?! Well, original members Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward (shown) are. (Siobhan Fahey left to form Shakespear's Sister after marrying Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics and who even remembers her replacement, Jacquie O'Sullivan?) While no longer waiting for Robert DeNiro, the sexy pair have released "Move in my Direction," a perfect summer pop song, complemented by a hot little eye-candy video.

Circa 1984 and beyond. Most refreshing. Glad that they're back!

Ugh, this song sounds like a bad Kylie record. I had such high hopes too, but it's nowhere as catchy as toxic. Their bio on their site is really smug, too.

Ahh, the good old Nanas. I love these ladies. The new song is an amazing pop track and the album will be pure pop perfection. They still look gorgeous too. I feel like a teenager all over again. Welcome back sexy ladies!!

Bananarama are still going strong, although they haven't had a US release since 1995. The new single, "Move In My Direction," was produced by the team behind Britney Spears' top 10 hit "Toxic" and has become their UK comeback hit. The single marks the girls' 16th appearance in the UK top 20 and their first top 20 hit in 14 years. The full cd is due in September and advance buzz is VERY positive on its quality!

Omigod! I remember the good ol' 80s where I'd bop up and down to "I heard a rumour." Glad that they're back! I guess they never really went away...I feel so old.
