Robin Williams died Monday at the age of 63, and his daughter Zelda Williams first publicly acknowledged his death on her Instagram on Tuesday with a photo reading, “I love you. I miss you. I’ll try to keep looking up.” Later that evening, she posted a lengthier statement to her Tumblr account, remembering her father and saying goodbye to social media for the time being.

According to an Instagram Zelda posted Wednesday, people have been looking through her social media feeds for photos of Robin and “judging [her] on the number of them,” which she called “cruel and unnecessary.” “There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or ‘selfies,'” Zelda wrote. “I shared with him a world where everyone was taking their photo with him, but I was lucky enough to spend time with him without cameras too.”

In the post, Zelda also asked fans to be respectful of her and her family’s social media accounts and said she’d be leaving Instagram for a bit while she decides whether or not to delete the account. Earlier, she said her dad probably has a specific punishment in mind for those who are harassing his family during this time: “As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car,” Zelda wrote on her Tumblr. “Right after youve [sic] had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too.”

She went on to compliment her father’s generosity and kindness. “While there are few things I know for certain right now, one of them is that not just my world, but the entire world is forever a little darker, less colorful and less full of laughter in his absence,” she wrote. “Well [sic] just have to work twice as hard to fill it back up again.”
