Last September, Robin Williams sat down with Whoopi Goldberg for a Sirius Town Hall. The primary reason for the talk was to discuss Williams’ return to television for The Crazy Ones, but the conversation quickly turned to everything from the late comedian’s thoughts on his recent roles to his and Goldberg’s favorite comedians–from Richard Pryor to Billy Crystal.

Below, enjoy some of the most memorable moments from their talk.

One of the best exchanges comes when Williams answers a question about the legacy he would want to leave behind—”that I tried to do to as many different things as I could,” Williams replied.

Williams doesn’t forget the comedy, either, happily relating the story of how he came up with the voice for Mrs. Doubtfire, and the odd place he used it.

In a longer excerpt, Williams reflects on how Good Morning Vietnam led him to performances at USO bases across the world, and what it was like to work with Gus Van Sant, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck on Good Will Hunting.

He also talked about two of the roles he missed out on.
