Beyoncé and her newfound feminism strike again. (Hooray!)

In a new video for Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In Foundation (in partnership with Lifetime TV), Sandberg has recruited Hollywood celebrities such as Beyoncé, Jane Lynch, and Jennifer Garner (as well as people like former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice) to advocate banning the word “Bossy.”

Noting the term is mostly applied to women in leadership roles as a way of keeping them down, all the people in the video point out that it’s time for change. “When a little boy asserts himself, he’s called a ‘leader.’ Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded ‘bossy.’ Words like bossy send a message: don’t raise your hand or speak up. By middle school, girls are less interested in leading than boys — a trend that continues into adulthood,” the new site BanBossy.com explains.

As Beyoncé notes: “I’m not bossy. I’m the boss.” #Flawless.
