Though 12 Years a Slave may have won the top prize, Gravity was the big winner at this year’s Academy Awards, taking home seven gold statuettes, the most of any film, including Best Director and Best Visual Effects.

Now the Gravity team is receiving a congratulatory message from some guys who really do know a lot about the subject. NASA astronauts Michael S. Hopkins and Richard A. Mastracchio, along with JAXA (Japan’s NASA equivalent) astronaut Koichi Wakata, were so impressed by the film’s production team after watching the movie about the International Space Station, that they decided to film themselves out in space to show their enthusiasm for the film and its realistic depiction of their everyday lives — besides the whole stranded in space thing. Sorry, Sandra, you’re on your own with that one.
