PAIRS FIGURE SKATING, FINAL

If they win, world champions Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov will have more than one reason to thank God. Why? The Russians are free-skating to Jesus Christ Superstar! (Also airing in prime time on NBC) –Clark Collis

LUGE DOUBLES GOLD MEDAL FINAL RUNS
1:45 p.m. NBCSN
Team U.S.A. doesn’t quite stand a chance in this adult version of Slip ‘n Slide– instead, two pairs from Germany are probably going to duke it out for the gold medal. Whatever happened to team unity, guys?

MEN’S CURLING SWITZERLAND V. BRITAIN
5 p.m. CNBC
This should be reason enough to watch.
