Comic-Con 2013 schedule: See what's happening Sunday

The schedule for the fourth day of Comic-Con is now available, and it’s a big day for television panels, including SupernaturalBreaking BadUnder the Dome, and Doctor Who.

You can find the complete schedule here, but check out below for some of the biggest highlight’s from the convention’s final day. San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 17-21.

10:00am-11:00am, Room 6DE, DC Comics Superman: The New 52: The Last Son of Krypton is one of the most recognized pop culture icons of all time, and this year, Superman is set to soar to new heights! Find out what makes The Man of Steel the hero that he is with the writers and artists who bring him to life: DC Comics group editor Eddie Berganza, Tony Daniel (Action Comics), Jim Lee (Superman: Unchained), Scott Lobdell (Action ComicsSuperman), Michael Alan Nelson (Supergirl), Scott Snyder (Superman: Unchained), and others.

10:00am-11:00am, Room 25 ABC, DuckTales: Remastered: How do you take a beloved 24-year-old NES game and update it for today’s gamers while doing your best not to ruin anyone’s childhood? Go behind the scenes with Austin Ivansmith (director/designer), Matt Bozon (creative director), and Rey Jimenez (Capcom producer) for an in-depth look at how a great video game is made — from design, to art, to music, and more. Followed by a Q&A session, plus maybe a surprise or two.

10:00am-11:00am, Room 24 ABC, LEGO Legends of Chima: The creators of LEGO Legends of Chima team up to discuss the development of the newest blockbuster LEGO property. Hear how the TV series is developed and see how LEGO model designers bring the characters and vehicles to life in LEGO form.

10:00am-11:00am, Hall H, Supernatural Special Video Presentation and Q&A: Series stars Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th [2009]), Jensen Ackles (My Bloody Valentine 3D), Misha Collins(Ringer), and Mark A. Sheppard (Battlestar Galactica), along with executive producer Jeremy Carver (U.S. version of Being Human) return to Hall H to answer questions from the audience about what’s in store for the ninth season of this exciting series. Fans will also be treated to an exclusive video presentation featuring series highlights, as well as a portion of the special features from the upcoming Supernatural: The Complete Eighth Season DVD and Blu-ray release, in stores September 10. The ninth season of Supernatural will premiere this fall in its new Tuesday nighttime period at 9/8c on The CW. The series is produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television.

10:00am-11:15am, Room 5AB, Jack Kirby Tribute Panel: Each year, we set aside time to talk about Comic-Con’s first superstar guest and the man they call The King of the Comics, Jack Kirby. Jack left us in 1994, but his influence on comics, film, and this convention has never been greater. Discussing the man and his work this year are Neil Gaiman, Tony Isabella, and Kirby family attorney Paul S. Levine. And of course, it’s moderated by Mark Evanier.

10:00am-11:15am, Room 6A, World Premiere of Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map: Everyone’s favorite Great Dane splashes onto the screen with a new, groundbreaking look that combines state-of-the-art puppetry with a cartoon sensibility. Witness the world premiere of this entertaining film along with panelists like Tony Award winner Stephanie D’Abruzzo (Avenue Q), puppetmaster supreme Peter Linz (The Muppets) and the voice of Shaggy, Matthew Lillard (Trouble with the Curve), as well as filmmakers David Rudman (The Muppets) and Adam Rudman (Sesame Street) and Warner Bros. Animation’s Jay Bastian as they reveal their magical visual techniques during a fun postscreening panel. Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment as a digital download and a Walmart DVD exclusive on July 23.

10:30am-11:30am, Room 8, Funky Winkerbean‘s 40th+ Anniversary: Comic-Con special guest Tom Batiuk will be taking you on a humorous and informative journey through the Funkyverse as he delves into the origin and history of his syndicated comic strip Funky Winkerbean. Joining him is DC Comics colorist Alex Sinclair, whose current credits include Superman: Unchained, Green Lantern, Astro City, and Teen Titans, and the talented guy who was the colorist on Batiuk’s Pulitzer Finalist book Lisa’s Story.

11:05am-11:55am, Marriott Hall 2, Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival Awards: The films have been shown, now it’s time to award the recipients of the 2013 Comic-Con Independent Film Festival with their trophies and recognition! Comic-Con’s Gary Sassaman talks to this year’s trio of judges — Alex DeMille (winner of last year’s CCI-IFF Judges’ Choice award for The Absence), journalist Geoff Boucher (senior writer at Entertainment Weekly and the force behind EW.com’s CapeTown) and acclaimed award-winning actress Kathy Najimy (Sister Acts 1 & 2, Hocus Pocus, Rat Race) — about the films and presents prizes and trophies to the winners.

11:15am-12:15pm, Hall H, Breaking Bad: AMC’s Breaking Bad creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan appears with the cast of Breaking Bad, including Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, R. J. Mitte, and Bob Odenkirk. In a panel moderated by Chris Hardwick, Vince and the cast talk about what it was like to shoot the final episodes of one of the boldest and most intense dramas on television and how they are preparing for the series’ final moments. Join the panelists for a one-on-one Q&A session and an official sneak preview of the final eight episodes of Breaking Bad season 5, premiering Sunday night, August 11 at 9:00.

11:15am-12:15pm, Room 6DE, Meet the Co-Publishers: As co-publishers of DC Entertainment, Jim Lee and Dan DiDio are the driving forces behind DC Comics — The New 52, Vertigo, MAD, DC’s digital initiative, and much more. This up-close-and-personal panel gives you a chance to step up and ask questions about your favorite comic book publishers!

11:15am-12:15pm, Room 5AB, Women of Marvel: From Captain Marvel to the X-Men, from Twitter to tumblr, women in comics has been one of the most talked-about topics in comics. Join the conversation as women from every discipline in the creative process at Marvel discuss what it’s like working as a woman in comics today and what it means for the future of the industry! Panelists include writer Louise Simonson (New Mutants), editor Jeanine Schaefer, Marvel AR producer and photographer Judy Stephens, and some other special guests!

11:30am-12:45pm, Room 6A, Cartoon Voices #2: Yesterday’s Cartoon Voices Panel will have been such a hit that we’ll have to do another one with different but equally talented actors from the world of animation voicing. Once again, moderator Mark Evanier has assembled an all-star dais that includes Bob Bergen (Porky Pig), Alicyn Packard (The Mr. Men Show, Poppy Cat), Maurice LaMarche (Futurama, Pinky and the Brain), Candi Milo (Dexter’s Laboratory, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends), Neil Ross (G.I. Joe, The Transformers), and maybe someone else.

11:45am-12:45pm, Room 6BCF Teen Titans Go! Screening and Q&A: This is a must-Go! panel for all Teen Titans fans, as Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven make their triumphant return to Comic-Con! Fans will be treated to a brand-new episode, as well as exclusive footage that will be screened only at Comic-Con! Following the screening, join producer Aaron Horvath (MAD) and members of the voice cast for a Q&A as they give fans a peek behind the cape at all the upcoming comedic mayhem that will be going on inside Titans Tower. From Warner Bros. Animation, Teen Titans Go! airs Tuesdays at 7:30/6:30c on Cartoon Network.

12:00pm-1:00pm, Room 29A, Browncoats Meet-up: Stop by the meeting room this year to hang out with Browncoats and hear some news from around the ‘verse. Wear a cunning hat. Who knows what could happen? There’s no better way to share your love for Firefly, and it’s a lot more practical than starting a fight in an Alliance-friendly bar on U-day.

12:30pm-1:30pm, Hall H, BBC America’s Doctor Who 50th Anniversary: BBC America presents the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary panel featuring Doctor Who stars Matt Smith andJenna Coleman, award-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, An Adventure in Space and Time star David Bradley, and award-winning writer/executive producer Mark Gatiss. The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special will premiere November 23, on BBC America. As part of the celebrations in November, An Adventure in Space and Time will tell the story of the genesis of Doctor Who, with David Bradley starring as the first ever Doctor, William Hartnell.

12:30pm-1:30pm, Room 6DE, X-Men: Get the lowdown on X-Men: Battle of the Atom, the massive X-Men event that will forever change the landscape of the X-Universe! 1:00pm-2:00pm, Room 6A, SpongeCon 2013: The Year of the Fan: Tom Kenny (voice of SpongeBob) hosts an interactive live SpongeBob event! Croon along with some of your favorite tunes from Bikini Bottom. Screen finalists from the SpongeBob SquareShorts fan film competition. Enjoy an exclusive sneak peek of the new half-hour special SpongeBob, You’re Fired! Plus a whole lot more. So get your goggles and dive on down. We want to have the Best Day Ever with you!

1:50pm-2:45pm, Hall H, Community: Celebrating the Fans: Community is back at Comic-Con, and the show is making its Hall H debut to celebrate the devoted Community fandom! Currently confirmed are cast members Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong, plus executive producers Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna and co-executive producer Andy Bobrow, moderated by Chris Hardwick (The Nerdist). Be a part of the study group for a panel and Q&A, and you’ll find out firsthand what surprises are in store for the Sony Pictures Television’s comedy series when it returns to NBC for its fifth season. Community launches in broadcast syndication and on Comedy Central this September.

2:15pm-3:15pm, Room 6BCF, Under the Dome: Stars Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Mike Vogel (Bates Motel), and Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight), along with executive producers Brian K. Vaughan (Lost), Neal Bear (Law and Order: SVU), and Jack Bender (Lost), invite you to go under the dome as they discuss the television event of the summer about a small town inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible and indestructible dome. Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, the series follows “Big Jim” (Norris), the only elected official left under the dome whose abiding love for the town may be surpassed only by his desire for power; Dale “Barbie” Barbara (Vogel), an army veteran with a mysterious past; and “Julia Shumway” (Lefevre), the editor of the local newspaper who is coping with the disappearance of her husband, among other residents who are all struggling to uncover the mystery of the dome that has descended upon their town. They must come together to find ways to survive and work to ultimately rebuild their democracy from the ground up, while facing postapocalyptic situations. 3:00pm-3:50pm, Hall H, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Screening and Q&A: The Gang returns to Paddy’s Pub with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito). It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by McElhenney and is executive produced by McElhenney, Day, Howerton, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel,Tom Lofaro, Rob Rosell, Scott Marder, and David Hornsby. The show is produced by FX Productions.

3:00pm-4:00pm, Room 6DE, Spotlight on Neil Gaiman: Comic-Con special guest Neil Gaiman has crossed over into numerous media. From comics to novels, from kids’ books to animation, from television to movies, Neil remains one of the most popular creators in the world. Visiting Comic-Con this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his seminal comics creation The Sandman, he’ll talk about everything that’s going on his career right now.

3:30pm-4:30pm, Room 6BCF, Buffy the Musical Once More with Feeling: Let’s end this show with a bang! The powers that be behind Whedonopolis and Fandom Charities present a screening of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode Once More with Feeling as Comic-Con’s big closing event! Many say this is the finest, funniest, most ingenious episode ever to come out of the Buffyverse. But remember, the best part of the show is up to you! This episode was made for talkin’ — back, that is — and singing and shouting and dancing in the aisles, with or without your dry cleaning! Audience participation: It isn’t just forRocky Horror and mob riots anymore.

3:50pm-4:40pm, Hall H, Sons of Anarchy: Get an inside look into the world of FX’s highest-rated series ever, with creator Kurt Sutter (The Shield), executive producer/director Paris Barclay (NYPD Blue), and the full cast: Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman, Maggie Siff, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, Dayton Callie, andJimmy Smits.

4:15pm-5:00pm, Room 6DE, Harry Potter: Still Magic!: The Harry Potter book and movie canons are closed (though Pottermore and Universal’s Wizarding Worlds are open).
