Norwegian author Jo Nesbo’s international bestseller will finally be released in the U.S. The tense thriller centers around an Oslo detective named Harry Hole who is sent to Australia in order to investigate the murder of a minor Norwegian celebrity. Obviously, nothing is what it seems.

WEDNESDAY, JUL. 3

The Lone RangerĀ premieres in theaters

Gore Verbinksi’s latest action-adventure takes Armie Hammer’s Ranger and Johnny Depp’s Tonto on a quest for revenge and a battle to defeat evil. Check out the trailer below.


THURSDAY, JUL. 4

Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay-Z

The rap icon/ sports guru/ clothing line mafioso/ a bunch of other things will release his album for free if you download the Magna Carta app on your Samsung Galaxy.

FRIDAY, JUL. 5

The Way, Way BackĀ opens

Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, recent Academy Award winners for The Descendants screenplay, co-wrote and co-directed this comedy about a fourteen-year-old Duncan. Starring Faxon, Sam Rockwell, Toni Collette, Steve Carrell, Maya Rudolph, AnnaSophia Robb, Allison Janney, Amanda Peet, Rob Corddry and Liam James, this indie sold for an astounding $10 million at Sundance. SATURDAY, JUL. 6

666 Park Avenue, ABC 9 p.m.

The canceled soapy drama was resuscitated to finish its thirteen episode run this summer. “The Elysian Fields” deals with Henry (Dave Annable) and Jane (Rachael Taylor) planning their engagement party amidst the backdrop of a supernatural building. This episode is the last one before next week’s series finale.

SUNDAY, JUL. 7

Princesses: Long Island, BRAVO 9 p.m.

With the pressure of marriage looming, some of the girls go speed dating while Amanda focuses on her business.
