Stephen Colbert and Alan Cumming parody 'Accidental Racist' with 'Oopsie Daisy Homophobe' -- VIDEO

The Internet has already rendered its verdict on the Brad Paisley and LL Cool J track “Accidental Racist” (guilty on all charges), but last night it was Stephen Colbert’s turn to weigh in, and in typical Colbert Report fashion, the host took Paisley’s lead and tried to tackle another of America’s pressing issues – homophobia – with a song of his own.

Called “Oopsie Daisy Homophobe,” Colbert twang-sang, “To the man stretching next to me / At the Crunch gym down on Main / I hope you understand / When I told you God hates f*gs / The only thing I meant to say / Is I’m a Skynyrd fan.”

“Oopsie Daisy Homophobe,” like “Accidental Racist,” even featured a rap verse, delivered by Alan Cumming, who manages to rhyme “parade” and “AIDS” in a moment as cringe worthy as, well, most of “Accidental Racist.”

Satire achieved, Mr. Colbert. Check out “Oopsie Daisy Homophobe” below.
