This April Fools’ Day we decided our readers deserved a good laugh. But since a website can neither get collectively engaged nor pregnant we realized we needed some help. So we interviewed five comedians with upcoming projects. Get to know them as they answer our April Questionnaire. Then check out more of their comedy online.

Get to know Sara Schaefer:

Sara’s a former blogger for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She currently co-hosts Nikki & Sara LIVE (with Nikki Glaser) which airs Tuesdays  at 11 p.m. EST on MTV.

On the opening sequence of the show for her show:  I started crying when they first showed it to us, because it made me so happy.

About those nude body suits: It was my idea to do the nude body suits. Everyone makes fun of me, because they say I’m obsessed with them and I’m trying to get them into everything that we do. I think that somebody in a nude body suit is one of the funniest things. I think it’s hilarious. I think that you wouldn’t expect two girls to be comfortable enough to do that. I just knew it would come out really funny.  Watching it back I was like ”Oooh, I need to learn not to stand like that.” It is weird looking at yourself on camera. That’s been one thing I’ve had to get used to. We tried on a bunch of different ones, different combos of what we were wearing underneath them, because you can see everything. I had another like a full-body Spanx on underneath just to make it smooth, you know, cause you can see just every single detail of my skin. … To be funny it needs to be just simple.

What will happen if people watch all of the episodes of the show online, back-to-back: You’ll get to know me and Nikki. You’ll probably realized how obsessed we are with Justin Timberlake, and that we love doing impressions of animals, Kim Kardashian, and Oprah.

April Fool’s Questionnaire:

The last week of April is National Karaoke Week. What’s your go-to karaoke song? Right now I know all the words to ”Suit & Tie” so that would be pretty fun. I’m still on the search for the perfect karaoke song. Honestly the songs that I am the best [at]  is probably like ”Stay” by Lisa Loeb. That’s one that I can really nail the vocals. I like to get up there and actually be able to sing it. I don’t want to do something that I can’t actually do. But I mean it’s funny cause the artist that I love singing along to cause he’s perfectly in my range is Counting Crows. But I don’t really know if ‘”Round Here” would really go over well in a karaoke situation.

Titanic remembrance day is in April. Did you cry during Titanic?: I’m sure I [cried]. I cry at everything. I mean even stuff that I hate. I’m like ”Damn you, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, now I’m crying.” When Lisa and Ken renewed their vows on the finale the stuff he said was really really sweet and I got teary-eyed. I am a loser. It’s embarrassing! Whenever I’m in front of someone and I can feel it coming I’ll overact and pretend I’m crying. [I'll] be like (loud sobbing noises) so that it will seem like I’m kidding even though I really am, so I’m trying to cover it. It usually doesn’t work. People [are like] ”You’re really crying right now, aren’t you?” And I’m like ”You shut up!”

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Uma Thurman have birthdays in April. Who would win in a fight, Buffy or The Bride from Kill BillOh the Bride from Kill Bill I mean, come on. You know why? It’s because she was buried alive and she got out of it. I’ve thought about that scene many times, like in my practical life. If I was buried alive would I have the muscle strength to get out of there? And, you know, no I wouldn’t. I would die but just to know that it’s possible. And you know what, it was in a movie so it probably isn’t possible. Probably physically you can’t get out no matter how strong you are, you may not be able to get out of it. But man it gave me hope, because I do have a fear of being buried alive. I’m not really sure of the circumstances in which that would happen, but I’m guessing it could happen to me at some point.
