'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice': And the fired celebrity is...

I’ve often considered All-Star Celebrity Apprentice to be a work of art — surreal art, to be exact — so it was appropriate that tonight’s task involved the teams selling their own art to the highest bidder. When all was said and done, another celebrity was fired. My full recap will be up later (UPDATE: Click over to read Dalton’s full Celebrity Apprentice episode 5 recap) but if you can’t wait to find out or sound of on who was cut loose, then read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Sunday’s episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.]

Finally someone had the guts to bring Omarosa back into the Boardroom after losing a task, and Project Manager Lil Jon was rewarded for his decision as the self-proclaimed reality show villain was fired by Donald Trump after raising only $12,000 on a fundraising task for the losing side. (By comparison, Lil Jon raised $82,500.) Omarosa’s relatively paltry amount actually beat Dennis Rodman’s tally of $10,000 — although Omarosa appeared at one point to contribute to her own total by slipping some money to a friend that was buying another piece to boost her take. But Dennis was lauded by the team for having the best actual artwork with pieces of real value like a signed Derek Jeter baseball bat. Trump also liked the fact that Dennis had a “great story” — which means he’s happy Rodman isn’t going out and getting wasted with hotel guests in the middle of a task like he did back in Celebrity Apprentice 2. But we’re not going to quibble with Trump’s logic here if it meant getting rid of Omarosa. Great story, indeed!

The other notable aspect of the trimmed down one-hour episode was Stephen Baldwin trying his best to convince everyone that he deserved to be taken seriously as a real artist. I’ll let you guess how that went.

My full All-Star Celebrity Apprentice recap will be up later, but you can sound off on the message board right here and right now. Glad to see Omarosa go? Who do you think had the best and worst art? And did Trace Adkins get a raw deal being forced by Trump to switch off of the team he picked to go play with the (clearly inferior) opposition? Let us know.
