NYC: Get ready to start lining up for tickets. The Public Theater has announced this summer’s Shakespeare in the Park shows, and fans of the Bard (and Modern Family!) have reason to celebrate. This year’s productions will be Comedy of Errors and a musical version of Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Comedy of Errors will star Shakespeare in the Park vets Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) and Hamish Linklater (The New Adventures of Old Christine) in a show directed by Daniel Sullivan. The play, which centers around two sets of twins separated as kids and now living as master-servant pairs in rival cities, is returning to Central Park for the first time in twenty years. That show will run May 28-Jun. 30.

Next up, it’s time for a musical. This year Shakespeare in the Park will tackle Love’s Labour’s Lost, but this time the production will be modernized, and turned into a musical, adapted and directed by Alex Timbers, who previously helped create cult favorite musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.  The Public refers to the show as a “fresh and unexpected evening of song, sonnets and Shakespeare, continuing The Public Theater’s long tradition of premiering new musicals in New York’s most magical summer setting.” Casting for Love’s Labour’s Lost hasn’t been announced yet, but the show will run July 23-Aug. 18.

Last year Shakespeare in the Park performed Into the Woods and As You Like It.
