The 2013 Grammy Awards didn’t inspire a record number of tweets — but events like the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Rihanna’s scorching solo performance, and fun.’s Best New Artist prize did move plenty of Twitter users to turn to their keyboards.

Twitter reports that Jay-Z, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and The-Dream’s Best Rap/Sung Collaboration win drove more micro-blogging conversation than any other moment at the Grammys. More than 116,000 tweets per minute were sent as the “No Church in the Wild” team accepted their golden gramophone (and a natty Jay-Z poked fun at Dream for wearing a Boyz N the Hood hat on top of a “Parental Advisory” cap).

Rihanna was a close second, inspiring 114,800 tweets per minute during her stirring performance of “Stay.” Prince’s announcement that “Somebody That I Used to Know” had won Record of the Year and fun.’s triumph over fellow Best New Artist candidates the Lumineers, Alabama Shakes, Hunter Hayes, and Frank Ocean drove significant Twitter chatter as well.

Users also singled out six individual artists as the night’s most talked-about: frequent performer (and rebellious underboob-show-er) Rihanna, double-winner Frank Ocean, show-opener Taylor Swift, Superdome power-devourer Beyoncé, music’s prodigal son Justin Timberlake, and Elton John duetter Ed Sheeran. There’s no word, though, on whether “#FemaleBreastNipples” became the hashtag it was always meant to be.
