Two episodes in one week? Why, it’s almost as good as discovering you’re heir to yet another massive fortune.
Fans of Downton Sixbey, Jimmy Fallon’s Downton Abbey spoof, were in for a treat. The third episode ended in a bit of a cliffhanger: Questlove had fallen in love with one of the Downton girls! And last night, viewers learned that Questlove wanted to marry not Lord James’ “loveliest daughter Lady Catherine” or “smoking hot daughter Lady Amber,” but instead, perennial bridesmaid Lady Hedith (Fred Armisen). Because of the tie-in to the real Downton — money troubles! — James wanted to join the two families as soon as possible. (“This family is f—ed up,” Lady Whoopi Goldberg declared.)
Watch below for all the romance of a Questlove/Fred Armisen wedding, and to discover what accused wife murderer Higgins’ true crime was. With apologies to Al Roker, let’s just say the Dowager Countess wouldn’t approve.
