Tina Fey and Amy Poehler: The BFF duo's 11 best onscreen moments

2008 Emmy Awards presentation (2008)
The Poehler and Fey’s banter was on point when they presented Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. The best part: When Amy gives a message to the people of Mars.

SNL‘s Palin/Clinton cold open (2008)
The very first sketch of Saturday Night Live‘s 34th season introduced Fey’s instantly iconic Sarah Palin impression, a caricature that was even funnier juxtaposed against Poehler’s incredulous Hillary Clinton. The pals would team up again a few weeks later for an equally historic sketch spoofing Sarah Palin’s infamous Katie Couric interview.

“The Jersey Floor” (2011)
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon‘s Jersey Shore parodies would have been funny enough without Amy and Tina playing a couple of spray-tanned, skanky “stalkers.” But with them? This is better than a night at Karma. Especially on account of Fey’s very pregnant belly.

Fey’s Golden Globes photobomb (2012)
Is this the moment that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association decided to ask the duo to host the ceremony this year? Either way, it’s the best unscripted awards show moment since the 2011 Emmys, when Amy organized a mock beauty pageant during the Best Actress in a Comedy presentation.

30 Rock‘s second live show (2012)
Okay, Fey’s Liz Lemon and Poehler’s Young Liz Lemon don’t actually interact in this clip. Still, though, the list would feel incomplete if we didn’t give it a shout-out.

The pair’s first Golden Globes promo
Oh yeah, people: Sunday’s gonna be good.
