If you’re a Walking Dead fan, you’re probably preparing for the midseason finale by rereading the latest issue of the Dead comic book, or playing the latest episode of Telltale Games’ Walking Dead game series, or rewatching last week’s episode of Talking Dead for clues about the finale, or maybe you’re just staring at Dead overlord Robert Kirkman through a pair of binoculars and trying to read his lips to discover spoilers. Well, now you can add one more platform to your Dead experience. A new game called The Walking Dead: Assault has launched on the iTunes store for iPad, iPhone, or desktop.
Assault parallels the original Dead comic book series, allowing you to assemble a team of four to fight against hordes of walkers. Future episodes will apparently follow the rough series outline — so even though Michonne isn’t a playable character yet, she probably will be, so be cool, fanboys, be cool.
