'West Wing' cast reunites for Michigan campaign ad (Yay, nepotism!) -- VIDEO

Have you, like me, suffered from acute West Wing withdrawal since the series went off the air in 2006? Well, here are four sweet minutes of relief.

The cast reunited for a wonderful video on the importance of voting on the nonpartisan section of the ballot. (I know it may not sound wonderful, but ye of little faith. It is the cast of The West Wing after all.) Produced by Michigan Supreme Court candidate Bridget Mary McCormack — and West Wing star Mary McCormack’s real life sister — the video features many of your favorite stars, including President Josiah Bartlett (Martin Sheen) himself. Check it out:

My reactions went something like this:

0:26: Donna! Janel Moloney’s character was always my favorite. Also, I routinely struggle with my coffee maker as well.

0:51: “People aren’t voting,” says Toby (Richard Schiff). C.J.’s (Allison Janney) snappy response: “For us or the other guy? ‘Cause there’s two ways to see that.” Classic C.J. I feel better already. Did anyone look for Danny’s (Timothy Busfield) goldfish on her desk?

1:54: There really is no better way to campaign than to have Josh Lyman (Bradley Whitford) vouch for you. Touché, Ms. Bridget Mary McCormack.

2:11: Josh, C.J. and Toby wonder who Mary McCormack is. “No clue, but something tells me she’s delightful and whip smart. Possibly hot,” McCormack herself answers. Her grin here is infectious. Be my best friend, Mary!

2:47: “He’s upgraded it to a calamity, a catastrophe –” “I’m telling you, it’s an apocalypse.” Knock on wood, it’s 2012!

2:51: “It’s an apocalypse now?” says Bartlett. Ha! It’s funny because Sheen starred in Apocalypse Now or as I like to call it, the movie in which they actually sacrificed a cow on camera.

3:16: I wouldn’t call this a “gentle reminder,” per se.

3:25: But they are beloved TV personalities. I can’t fault them on that.

3:28: Josh does look like Louie C.K.

3:50: I kind of teared up when they all filed out.
