Prince Charles reads the weather report

Remember that one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry David decided to be a car salesman for a day? So replace “car salesman” with “weatherman” and “Larry David” with “heir to the throne of Great Britain,” and you’ve got an actual event that occurred today. Yes, Prince Charles swung by the BBC’s Scotland office to deliver the weather report, his sherry-cask voice making phrases like “cold, wet, and windy” sound like national emergencies. Presumably, 60 years from now, someone will make a movie out of this. It will be called A Cold Day Everywhere and win a lot of Oscars. Oh, nuts to you, King’s Speech.
