Not everyone makes it to 90. Even for those who do, not everyone gets the digital treatment from the Emmys, which celebrates Carl Reiner’s 90th birthday today with a host of photo and video moments from the star’s storied career.

Emmys.com worked with the Television Academy Foundation’s Archive of American Television to compile clips and tributes to the comic from over the years, including interviews with Reiner, as well as highlights from last year’s “An Evening with Carl Reiner” event at the Television Academy.

Reiner, an actor, writer, director, and producer who created The Dick Van Dyke Show, has been a legend in Hollywood since the early ’50s, when he was a regular featured performer on Your Show of Shows. Since then, Reiner performed alongside Mel Brooks in their iconic “2000 Year Old Man,” wrote films like Enter Laughing and The Jerk (which he co-wrote with Steve Martin), and directed cult classics like Where’s Poppa? and Oh, God! — and that’s just a glimpse at his accomplishments.
