Season 3 of NBC’s delightful a cappella competition The Sing-Off crowned a champion tonight. Who was it? Well, if you don’t want to know which group took won the show, DON’T continue reading!

It was… ¬†Pentatonix!

The electro-funky quintet took home the $200,000 prize as well as the Sony recording contract, and I think we a ca-holics can all be very happy about the decision! Pentatonix consistently delivered the most ambitious, fresh, and exciting performances throughout the season (special shout out to “Video Killed the Radio Star,” which in this writer’s opinion, was THE performance of the last three months), and their passionate group dynamic was easy to root for. Plus, in terms of having a legitimate recording career, their poppy, futuristic sound seems most likely to click with audiences.

Collegiate crooners the Dartmouth Aires finished in second place, while the hip-hop(no I will NOT say rapapella, Ben Folds) troupe Urban Method came in third place.

Sing-Off fans, what did you think of the finale? Were you excited to see all the groups back in one place? Did you think it was an entertaining night (or should I say Una Noche?) overall? And are you happy or disappointed that Pentatonix took home the victory?
