You know what I love, when people REVIEW a REVIEW! Well guys, I think your critiques of this review suck and that you’re all talentless hacks pounding away at your keyboards.
But really — people who b*tch about reviews redefine the term “loser”. And they’re EVERYWHERE, every review, ever.
And thus it’s all just a waste of time and words that I have to wade through to see what anyone’s opinion on the game is… though with this one, it’s pretty clear it’s an excellent game. I am curious how “open world” it feels vs. hubs connecting levels together.
Instead of Goldeneye, a great comparison is resident evil 4.
Both have dark, detailed environments. Like re4 you’re required to fight for your survival (ie the slum of gotham and zombies). Many twists and turns keep drawn into the gameplay and the story.
im tryin to find the evidence. i scan the bullet area but wht eles i suppose to do
im trying to find where the bullet.got shot.from
Looks more like Batman vs. the Juggalos. Does it take place at the Gathering?
Video games are a medium that needs to be recognized and this was a great review on the game. I am picking it up this afternoon and even though Asylum had it’s flaws I am sure that those issues were corrected for this game. Goldeneye was and still is a pivotal game in the world of video games and I was in college at the time and me and my buddies would play for hours on this. It set up the mark for all those one person shooter games now and thanks for taking me back on this mention of Goldeneye. And a word to everyone, if you don’t want to know what happens in the Arkham City game until you play it, you may NOT want to WILLINGLY read reviews and comments on the Internet. It’s that simple.
Christ, GoldenEye for basically the entire first damn page??
I’m confused…James Bond doesn’t have a cape…
So when is the next Batman movie going to be released?
I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but…it’s MY opinion that if you didn’t care for Batman: Arkham Asylum…then you obviously do not know what a GOOD video game is.
Most useless review. If I want to know about goldeneye. I’ll search that review. Thank you
goldeneye? goldeneye? learn how to write a review. geez.
After reading an entire page about another game, I thought I might finally read an ARKHAM CITY
very nice article about goleneye.
What a poor review.
It doesn’t take a genius to write an informative game review that covers gameplay mechanics, replay value, references to other games the game in question borrows from (and how), and simply whether the game is fun and why. Still yet some reviewers attempt to needlessly reinvent the wheel in order to try and set themselves apart from other reviewers. The final result is the author sounding long-winded and full of himself, while the reader is wondering if somehow they missed the actual review amongst so much needless chatter. Thankfully there are plenty of other resources to access for decent/straight to the point game reviews.
P.S. This isn’t 1998 so I don’t really care about Goldeneye or the author’s opinion of Goldeneye. You aren’t saying anything that hasn’t already been said a million times before.
