Has 'Millionaire Matchmaker' Patti Stanger reached her tipping point with her comments about gay men?

I had never heard of Patti Stanger before this controversy.
…after watching a video of her appearance on WWHL, it’s obvious that Stanger is ignorant and shallow, which leads me to wonder why anyone cares what she thinks about anything – and why anyone (straight or gay) would look to her for relationship advice. What am I missing? What makes her qualified to dispense advice about anyone’s love life? Why do people care what she thinks???
Tipping point of what? She’s a talentless bomttom feeder. I don’t watch her show and think any sort of fame bestowed upon her by Bravo is a joke on THEM. Seriously, cut this harpy loose.

I personally cannot stand the sight or sound of Patti and I would love the chance to jump all over her about this – however as a gay man I have to say – she was really pretty much on the money for the most part, and was only saying what others think but don’t say.
I was watching parts of WWHL last night and was totally uncomfortable and felt for Andy Cohen- I would think she would have a little more respect for her boss. Ugh, she is terrible, her show and business is awful. She says she has a great success rate but every show I’ve seen ends with: they’ve decided not to continue their relationship.
What a statement it would make if AC canceled her show. Why not? Southwest Airline threw the girl from the L word off a plane for kissing her girlfriend. I”m straight but I think gays should start retaliating a little.
What I really don’t understand is why everyone is causing an uproar over this particular incident. I’ve watched her show for years and this is FAR from the first time she has said something to the effect of gay men being incapable of monogamy. Not to mention (as everyone has pointed out) all of the things she has said about women, Jews, and unattractive men over the years. It seems that Andy Cohen and the Bravo team didn’t have a problem when they chose to include those soundbites as part of her show, so everyone can really spare me the mock outrage this time.
Thank you! Andy Cohen has been integral to her show being on the air and hello, she’s been acting like this for years. So as long as she does it to clueless people on tv it’s okay but the minute she says these things in front of Andy Cohen it’s somehow a problem? She makes horrible comments all the time and they’ve all gotten rich off of it. Stop being a hypocrite, Andy!
Please go to Change . org and sign the petition “Cancel Millionaire Matchmaker” to let her know that her bigoted comments are unwelcome.
She also hates redheads… finally allowed Sally on the show. Sally should be the new Matchmaker!
As to the question “Have Stanger’s remarks turned you off of Millionaire Matchmaker, or will you keep watching?”, I just deleted the 2 episodes that I had recorded but had not watched yet. Patti, there is no curbing your idiotic comments so I will put you to the curb.
As a gay man I have to say, the woman spoke the truth. I didn’t hear exactly what she said, but she’s totally right. Gay guys have a big issue being monogomous. We are always on grindr!! It’s very rare for gays to commit, and that’s a fact!!
If a gay man said what she said, this wouldn’t even make any headlines. Give her a break!
