Update: Annie’s recap is live. After last week’s first-round efforts at either the cha cha or the Viennese waltz, the second week of Dancing With the Stars season 13 will bring either the quickstep or the jive for our Sparkalien transplants to Planet Mirrorballus. (The contestants.) Hope and Maks are dancing first! He’s already teased that he’ll be “her waterboy” on Twitter. You know what that means! Not really. Not yet.

elizabetta was much improved and one of the best dances of the night. Chynna was so underscored. Carson was boring, hope was a little stiff. Ricky had terrible music and JR and karina rocked it. LEN WAS SO ANNOYING TODAY — What’s going on with him?
Len was like a crotchety old man. NO ONE was good enough for him.
The only thing I noticed was the “polaroid pictures” of Ricki and Derek on the jumbo screen at the exact same moment the “shake it like a polaroid picture” line came up during the song. That was very funny.

Her dress was cut real low in the sides and back last week also. They want her to show her hip bone.
Hate to say it, but her butt looked better than Maks’ did. Those white shorts did him no favors. Yet, I still watched. I’m still human.
I agree. Probably doesn’t help that, because of those heels, I spent a lot of time watching her feet during the performance and then she kept getting off the beat… whoops.
My problem watching her try to shake her bootie is that she is so physically FIT, she doesn’t have any hips to shake!
