Die hard fan here!! I can miss any other show, ( Well, not Son’s of anarchy ) But I could miss ANY other show as long as I can have my Vampire Diaries!! It’s the best show on the air!!
I love this show-it is just getting better.
AWESOME!!! much deserved too. The Vampire Diaries has been stellar in it’s first few seasons

Consider me a member of the “rabid fanbase.” I’ve been with the show since the very beginning. Yes, it started off extremely cheesy, but found its way around the 5th episode of season 1. Season 2 took it to a whole other level. The writing is sharp, the acting excellent, and the overall product is top notch. I’ve been loaning out my season sets on DVD and have recruited about 10 new viewers of varying ages and of both sexes. All it takes is people actually watching to see how brilliant the show is. And for the record, I’m a 28-year-old male. I love The Vampire Diaries!

Well, you would be wrong in that hypothesis. I WISH I worked for the show and/or network. It would be a dream come true. It sure beats the hell out of my actual profession. Retail. Ugh. I just really, really, really enjoy the show and I gush about it. My twitter feed is chalk full of TVD topics.
I couldn’t agree more! I almost left it cause of the first couple epi not so great but hang in there until about epi 6 and it becomes brilliant! Really every single episode is like a series finale episode it’s so good!
First of all, the series has completely devolved into a string of cell phone, automobile, and anti-drug commercials. Product placement is getting to the point where it comprises a significant portion of the dialogue.
Also, what is EW.com’s connection to the show? Sounds like they are hyping one of their own projects or are being paid for advertisement.
Other networks are showing that Vampire Diaries is losing its audience, and my guess is this is just garbage they are paying for to generate “hype” …
Don’t believe the garbage. This show was ok at first, but now it sucks.
The plot is dying so rapidly, and I’m sick of watching Kia commercials about vampires.
Its nothing more than DEA propaganda and strategically placed auto and cell phone ads.

No plot after the first season? That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. The Vampire Diaries covers more ground in one episode than some shows cover in a month, and in some cases, longer. DEA propaganda? LMAO. What’s your favorite show? That conspiracy theory show with Jesse Ventura?
I mean…I’m a college student and this is one of my favorite tv shows. i know a lot of people that watch it but we don’t have time to watch it live. we catch up on itunes after it airs.
it’s unfair to say that this show has bad ratings because honestly, the people that are most loyal to it either don’t have time to watch it during its incredibly inconvenient time slot, or they don’t live in the U.S. it’s simple.
I for one I’m one of d rabid fans n I’m highly obsessed with dis show tvd…I live in paris so I watch online or download via itunes..

Hi,i’m a 25 years old male and i’m str8.i also have a daughter 1 year old and a job that pays me a lot of money and i can provide the best to my wife and my child.that being said i would like to say that i love the vampire diaries.every thursday i’m home with my wife,my friend end others and really enjoy thw show.the acting and the writing is one of the best in tv right now and the storytelling is getting (a lot)better and better.it’s dark,sexy and quick.is like the scariset roller-coaster ever.
oh and for those who say that tvd has lost its audience i disagree i carried a small survey(that’s my work(actually i ran a whole bussiness about that kind of things)and the result showed that TVD right now is one of the biggest show.it has 2.7 million viewers (average)when it airs on the cw.adds 4.7 on live+3 and it has a totall audience of 15 million viewers (without counting dvr).internationally the show is the top show in 23 countries including uk.france,germany,greece,bulgaria and spain!!!
