HIMYM was scrumptious! What a great bit, including the dirty dancing. Runner-up: Springsteen and his E Street mates singing that beautiful acoustic version of “If I fall behind” on CSI: NY. Fitting that a 9/11 tribute not only includes the Boss & Co, but that this version also includes the Big Man himself on sax, recorded before he passed away. Cried like a damn baby.
LOVED Atlas Hands. I actually listened to the lyrics and googled them while I was watching because I knew I wanted to buy the song. This column is fantastic!
i love watching tv shows not only because of all the eye candy but because they have AMAZING music!!
seriously, The vampire Diaries has one of the best soundtracks ever. Thank god they post their song selections (organized by episode!) on the CW website. The songs match the emotions of each scene perfectly. It’s part of the reason that I got hooked on the show in the first place. Bravo to whoever does the song selection behind the scenes, awesome

Parenthood always has good music, too. AND it is a great show.
My favorite has to be the Springsteen song playing at the end of CSI: NY this week. The episode was truly moving, but the song had me in tears. It was just so beautifully done, and I love how it played as background music, allowing the post 9/11 scenes to take center stage. Love this show since Sela Ward has come on board…

NBC is abusing The Black Keys (they used 2 songs during Prime Suspect too) like ABC abused Muse two years ago with “Uprising.”
