They probably can’t blame it on the alcohol this time: Glee, which saw its third season debut last night, was down 32 percent in the Read the full post.

'Glee' premiere ratings down 32 percent from last year. Why didn't you watch?

You know what would be nice? If I could read the article instead of an X Factor Ad.
I AGREE!! Earlier this week it was that stupid Playboy show. Keep it up, EW. People will be going to PEOPLE!
1. The novelty of the music is gone. Rachel ballads have become repetitive and who wants to see clips of Wicked.
2. Sue Sylvester is over the top unwatchable…she has no redeeming quality since they’ve already played the ‘my sister has Down Syndrome card. There has to be a balance.
3. The Kurt-Blaine love story is unbelievable and irritating at this point.
totally agreed.
I never watched it last year, why start now, there are more new stories on TV then to watch Glee
The whole show reads like a 14 year old girl’s fanfiction.
More like a 12 year old girl’s fanfiction.
because Ryan Murphy is an egomaniac and it shows in his writing
I’m sick of the word “Gleek”. Let’s use “Gleetard” instead!
I like Gleetard, too. A much better reflection of the actual fans of this show now.
“Gleetards” hahaha me like
Not cool
I didn’t watch yesterday, saw parts of it today, I’m tired of Lea singing every song on the show, the premiere showed her sing at least songs. C’mon give somebody else a chance. her storyline is soooo tired… as I watched I was rolling my eyes at how much screen time she gets
I used to just laugh off the plots because I liked the music. But I don’t even like songs anymore. The biggest overplayed pop hit from 3 months ago, obscure 80s, and cheesy showtunes.
Although I did enjoy Anything Goes from Boats&Hos I just sort of groaned at the rest. The most fun songs are the ones they mashup or sing acapella. I’m really sick of the lifeless note for note remakes that sound exactly the same as original.
NCIS had higher ratings than Glee from Sept. 2010 – June 2011. NCIS had twice as many viewers last night. What is the big surprise EW? More people want to watch NCIS than Glee. I saw two episodes of Glee and that was enough for me. NCIS is the better show.
Higher ratings has nothing to do with quality dum@ss,that’s like saying reality TV is so awesome because so many idiots watches it..And most of the people I know that watches NCIS don’t even have any teeth.GTFOHWTB.
And Kim, you are nasty and haven’t a clue about proper usage of the English language.
Same story lines, over and over. <>
I was out last night but I canceled my season pass early last spring and never finished season 2. It’s not the unbelievability, I watch TV for unbelievable story lines. It was the after school special, don’t bully or hate but we’re going to ground out every stereotype ever created and throw them in your face and not even in a funny way. The blog, Go Fug Yourself had the best insight. Glee got really lazy in season 2 and that’s why they didn’t win any Emmy’s. If Gossip Girl isn’t winning Emmy’s neither should Glee.
Touche!
Because there is no Sam…the only character that made last season bearable. No Sam ergo no Sam and Quinn ergo I don’t care if I miss Glee right now. Rather watch Ringer or watch paint dry.
Ringer suck too, don’t get to attached to it cuz it might get cancelled.
No Glee without Sunshine.
Seriously? She was on for about 15 minutes all last season. THAT’s your reason for not watching? Wow.
Seeing Glee drop so significantly just one night after nearly 30 million people inexplicably tuned in to Two and a Half Men serves as a reminder that there IS hope for America after all.
I watched it this morning but that was always the plan since I work until 8pm. It wasn’t too bad this go around. It seems as though they are trying to address the storytelling inconsistencies but it has a long way to go.
