Wyclef Jean — firm supporter of Barack Obama — announced his love of Sarah Palin at a Fashion Week event on Monday, reports Women’s Wear Daily. “I have to tell you this: I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin,” he announced unexpectedly. “Cause she’s rad. She’s shrewd. She’s cool.” He added that, in America, “Anyone should have the right to say, ‘Look I can do the job and this is what qualifies me to do the job.’”
I’ve got to be honest, PopWatchers. I didn’t see this one coming. What about you? How do you think Palin would feel about her new supporter? On a sliding scale of the absurd, where does this stack up again John McCain and Snooki?

Interesting, although not surprising. What was done to Wyclef in Haiti by the media was pretty much the same thing the media in the USA did to Palin. And they did the same thing to Mrs Clinton.
Politics makes strange bedfellows. Wyclef supports her because he knows where she’s been.
That’s why the old adage of walking a mile in someone else’s shoes is still appropriate today.
The only thing the media did to Palin was let her speak.

It seems to me (and I could be wrong) that he ‘s not necessarily saying that he supports her political viewpoints or that he would even vote for her, but that he loves her for getting out there and doing what she’s doing (whatever that is).
This coming from the guy who ran for the Executive office in Haiti on no platform. Shocking how he would support an unqualified person. :X
