So many “real” housewives and older (26 and up) starlets are defying the very laws of nature in this brave new world we’re living in. A little lift here, a slight tuck there, and before you know it, you’re popping somas and looking like a creature from the murky inner depths of the Bravo network. It’s usually unattractive, and it’s an undeniably negative trend that is wreaking emotional havoc on the impressionable young women of my generation.
This is why I was delighted to learn that 17-year-old Ali Lohan has defied the defiers by opting to age gracefully. Of all things! A rep for this brave young woman, who was recently signed to a modeling agency, denied allegations that she went under the knife after a new photo sparked concern and media frenzy. “Aliana has never had any type of plastic surgery in her life, nor has she ever considered it,” Steve Honig told People. “Her success as a model lies with her natural looks and she has no interest in changing that. During the past two years, she has gone through a normal teenage growth spurt that has made her taller and slimmer.”
Hold the phone, Mr. Honig. Are you trying to tell us that not once in her 17 long years as a Lohan has she even considered working on those crow’s feet? What about the embarrassing smile lines, the ones that typically start to show around age 15? If what Honig says is true, then Ali Lohan is truly the Gloria Steinem of our time.
But seriously, all kidding and questionable parenting aside, this whole debacle is very unsettling. I’m team Lohan on this one, probably because my face was 80 percent baby fat until college, and everyone gave me a hard time when it naturally went away. Britney Spears emerging from her 19th summer with humongous breasts was one thing, but a slightly thinner face is something else entirely — something that is ultimately not a big deal. What world are we living in when a thinned out 17-year-old girl sparks plastic surgery headlines? Oh yeah, the one where moms dress their daughters up like iconic movie prostitutes in beauty pageants. Never mind, this all makes sense now.

Ya! Its a very “man ish” picture, maybe its the brows and the steel look, never really thought she was attractive to begin with, just gets print cause of her sis.

She looks thinner in the face yes, but she also looks like a completely different person. She definitely had plastic surgery. Bigger chin, thinner nose. If people want to improve themselves with plastic surgery, then I’m fine with that, but sometimes plastic surgery goes bad when the person comes out looking worse or like a totally different person. And that’s the case here. She was cuter before and now she doesn’t even look like the person she used to be. I would never guess that those two pictures were really the same person.
And I forgot to mention, she also has plumper lips now.

She most definitely had plastic surgery. She doesn’t even resemble her early-teens self. Her lips are all pumped out, her cheek bones are protruding and she’s not “thinned out”. How does a skinny teenager thin out at 17 years old?!?!? She’s bone skinny. Look at her neck/jaw-line and arms. She doesn’t look good at all. You can tell she’s malnourished by how her damaged hair.
I don’t recall my lips getting fuller during my growth spurt….on the other hand, I don’t think that technically would require a “surgery” per se.
She very well could have gotten lip injections (and given her sister, it would surprise me in the least) but to be fair, the two photos aren’t really a good reference point. She’s laughing in one and pursing her lips in another. They’re bound to look bigger in the latter picture.
The rumors about Britney having implants started when she was 17, not 19. If you’re going to perpetuate rumors at least have the details right. And she breastfed her kids, which you don’t (or shouldn’t) do when you have implants, so its safe to say she didnt get them or had them removed.
There’s a possibility of damaging the milk ducts with implants but aside from that it’s not true that you can’t breastfeed with implants.
If you’re going to talk about breast implants, get the details right. I had implants done 9 years ago, and I had no trouble breastfeeding my baby. It depends on where the implants were inserted. If the surgeons go under the breast, as I had done, or through the armpit and leave the nipples intact, breastfeeding is possible. The trouble happens when they go in through the nipples and cut the milk ducts. There is no reason a woman with breast implants shouldn’t breastfeed if the milk ducts are left intact.

Britney didn’t get her boobs done. She wore a push-up bra in a music video and the tabloids went crazy. She’s always had pretty natural looking, small boobs.

it’s still possible to breast feed when you get implants, but not so much when you get breast reduction
I don’t know about plastic surgery, but what I do know is that she went from being cute to ugly in a very short 6 months.

Yeah, one doesn’t look like a 40 year old who just got out of concentration camp due to puberty. Something’s up, it could be that she actually did drastically change in 6 months, but it very well could be plastic surgery. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was judging by how crazy her mom is. What really depresses me about his article is how “26 and up” starlets are considered “older”. Well I guess that’s the world we live in nowadays, what with 10 year olds appearing on the cover of Vogue and all.
Whatever she’s doing, whether it’s surgery or extreme weight loss, she looks like hell. Someone needs to tell her to soften up a bit. Her new look is harsh, and a little too masculine.
What if she’s going for an adorgynous look here? It’s hard to tell the direction a photo shoot might go in or if she just had one or is wearing a certain designer’s clothes and going for a particular look.
Some eye brow tweezers could do wonders for her face. That alone would make her look less masculine.

17 year old girls do slim down and fill out, seemingly overnight, but unless she’s in the middle of an anaphylactic crisis, I’d like to know where that upper lip came from.
Uh, here’s the problem; The after picture on the viewers left has been photo shopped. View and compare the untouched photo on other websites and you’ll notice that here she has not only color in her face but color in her lips as well. Look at her right (viewers) cheek, it’s too soft which is highly indicative of a shop. Oh and Aliana did a reverse Britney, she had big boobs and is now completely flat chested. No plastic surgery for her and it’s obvious no food for her in a looooong time. Anorexic at best.
If you Google Ali Lohan’s before and after pictures, there are several different photos, some were not taken at a photo shoot but where snapped by paparazzi. The girl looks freakishly different… there is no denying it.
