Please, no disgracing Streep by referencing mama Mia paycheck . Period. But try ‘super diamond’ for Neil. But they will probably cave in to being ‘edgy’ and have will farell do his snl diamond . Zzzzzzz.
Exciting choices. I never miss this show and really hope that some day they bring them out on DVD. What a thrill it would be to see the old time stars get their due!
I love Meryl Streep as an actress and am so glad she is receiving this honor. She truly deserves it for her body of work.
Meryl Streep gave Paul McCartney a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. How about Paul McCartney returning the favor and saying a few words on behalf of Meryl Streep (and Neil Diamond). Don’t forget Dustin Hoffman, Clint Eastwood, Cher, Robert deNiro, and all of the other countless talented people Ms. Streep has worked with in the past. That woman is a legend in her own time! She could have hundreds of big name people honoring her and there would be a lot more who would have to be left out because of time and the number of people allowed into the room at one time.

Wonderful list of honorees. I’ll be watching like I always do. Streep has worked with so many amazing people. And I’m sure any of them would love to be there to give her tribute. Can’t wait to see what they come up with.

I think that Cate Blanchett and Rachel McAdams are the heirs apparent to Ms. Streep and I think of the many men she has worked with Kevin Kline and Clint Eastwood were the ones with whom she had the most chemistry.
Neil Diamond could probably get dozens of artists from the past 50 years in music but I think Adam Levine and Bruno Mars would be the best current artists.
Will Ferrell should honor Neil Diamond as Neil Diamond. I loved it when he would do Neil Diamond on SNL.

I must admit, KCH do put on an outstanding show, very moving and touching. I`ve watched for the last couple of years, I might not be familiar with all the honorees, but there`s always one or two that I recognize. I hope soon Cicely Tyson gets her due and be honored!
