I like both. But still Britney beats Xtina. Xtina had too much of an ego and was always jealous towards Britney. when the whole Madonna and Britney kiss got a lot of media attention and no one cared for her kiss with Madonna.
Ok, so I was reading all this comments and HAD to step in for Xtina. Now, I’m not going to pretend I know anything about either of them (especially their personalities) but I have to give my two cents. Nobody seems to be remembering all the time Britney spent in rehab or the basic difference between the messages they send out (personally I have always noticed that Britney wears skimpier clothing…….). One is a big, typical POP star. The other is a powerhouse that can’t possible be put under any one category, especially pop. Christina also had a much different upbringing, with the domestic abuse, bullying, ect. and yet she still made it through and was stronger because of it. Britney kinda collapsed under the pressure. Christina says, like me or not I’m going to say what I have to say which makes you respect her and want to listen. I don’t know what Britney is exactly trying to say…….. Christina is also involved in a lot of charity work and shows an active life off the stage. You say that when she sings she gives more that we want. I think too much of singing now adays is computers, she is obviously not (except for Bionic, but you know, she learns from her mistakes). Her messages are real and powerful and upbringing along with fun, sassy and sexy songs too. She’s practically sang in every genre.
So, I think it’s pretty clear who is better. You don’t get goosebumps with Britney and I personally never found anything interesting that would make me be drawn to her. Since the first song I heard of Christina’s I was hooked. Nobody sings like that anymore (if they ever did). I could never get enough of her long notes and she has so much story behind everything she does and all of her songs.
So yeah, longer than I thought it would be, but there you go. I’m just very passionate about subjects like this……
