Not necessarily nicer… you are looking at them through rose-coloured glasses. There were plenty of problems in this country (and the world) in the 1950s.
Lucy was and continues to be a legend. A true comedic genius and overall wonderful person.

I recently had gall bladder surgery. As I was recuperating, I decided to watch my favorite episode, Vitameatavegamin! As the scene started, I begain to laugh uncontrollabily and had to turn it off to keep from hurting myself! Happy 100th Birthday, Lucy. We will always love you.

My all-time favorite t.v. show EVER! No matter how many times I see I Love Lucy episodes, I still laugh out loud! I wish there were comedy shows like this today that were safe to watch with the whole family.
