Watching 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood' as an adult is a freaky marvel. Did you know that?

In the wake of PBS’ announcement of a Mr. Read the full post.
Those puppets are way creepier looking than I remember. I watched this so much as a kid.
Mr. Rogers was great – I cried through a (university) exam the day he died!
PBS still airs old Mr. Rogers Neighborhood shows on the weekends. My kids enjoy them as much as I did when I was a kid. There is just something soothing about it especially compared to all the other kid shows on now.
Wow, so many memories. I still remember Electric Company when the woman at the beginning yelled, “Hey you guys!!!” and turning to my aunt asking why she had a funny accent. The response was, “Cuz she’s a yankee, babydoll.” in her thick Southern drawl. Haha!
Weren’t there lots of Yankee accents around on TV? I love that story.
I’m sorry… but those puppets always creeped me out. But this was a great article. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed reading Annie!
