Ashley should not have let Ben propose. I remember Jason doing it and he thought she (I can’t think of her name at the moment) should not have let him. I think the powers that be would keep their slutty and inconsiderate things for Bachelor Pad where it belongs. I think Chris Harrison has to go along with a lot of stuff and doesn’t have a choice in some of them.
I found the last episode really hard to watch. The way Ashley carries on with both guys is disgusting There’s no way she doesn’t know who she’s going to choose at that point.
I would like to see you try to change that last episode somehow. We know she ‘s being fake with one guy and it’s cruel.
I noticed she didn’t answer Ben’s question when he asked her when she knew. That tells me she knew ages ago.
I agree completely. Sure it’s reality TV, but setting someone up for that kind of mean-spirited, humiliating fall is inexcusable. Was hard to watch and unnecessarily cruel.
I wouldn’t put too much stress on the “reality” part.
Ashley told Regis and Kelly that she told JP “I love you” BEFORE he told her. This crap is all staged. She knew who she was going to pick BEFORE she wrapped her legs around Ben – people get used on this show. Really disgusting! Chris – you’re actions and words are quite hypocritical – all for ratings!
Ashley my dear, You don’t hike your legs around a man you are going to turn down… I don’t blsme the man for being pissed out. From now on, they need to do it like Ali did and keep it classy.
I saw the Regis & Kelly interview, too! If she is really “in love” with a guy, how can she grind up on some other guy? Oh, right, because she doesn’t know what “love” is.
And if she is so madly in love with JP, how could she sleep with Ben? I couldn’t do that. If you’re really in love, sex with someone else is off the table. Supposedly.
I think Chris is the best MC of all.
He doesn’t act as if he is the show
and he lets others dominate it while he stays in the background.

I love it!!! I liked JP the most the entire season. I just loved the two of them together. For a fleeting moment leading up to the rose ceremony I thought she was going to pick Ben. I felt really bad for Ben. I too appreciated the raw emotions he showed, very genuine. What a great guy. My husband is not a fan of this show. But when he watched the ATR, he said he could really see the love and excitement in Ashley’s eyes as JP was about to come out. He thought she was very sincere. Wow!! Big thing to hear my husband say. I am so excited for Ashley and JP. I hope the very best for them.
Ryan should be the next Bachelor. Please! I cannot stand Ben and his gross crazy 7th grade hair. I wouldn’t be able to watch him.

“I hope you enjoyed the way ABC programmed the Men Tell All on Sunday and rolled right into Monday’s dramatic season finale, which led us right into After the Final Rose.” Thank you Chris Harrison and ABC for FINALLY doing it this way!!! It was so much more enjoyable to watch it this way and not have an entire two weeks in between in the last two episodes. I hope that you will always do this in the seasons to come!

I didn’t really care much for JP so for me the night was all about Ben and a sad one it was. I’m so disappointed that Ashley not only made him think he was the one beyond what was necessary but couldn’t open her mouth to stop him when he proposed? Just heartbreaking and I thought he handled it well under the circumstances. He looked & did great on the ATFR show. I’d love him to be the Bachelor but part of me doesn’t want him to be part of this cruel show that piles on the f2 by crushing him & then send him away in a boat. Do they really think we enjoy that?
I was happy with Ashley’s choice and was worried that she was going to send JP home. I don’t like the fact that Ashley didn’t have the guts to interrupt Ben and let him go through the entire proposal. His reaction was undeniably true and he is a good person. I didn’t care for how Ashley’s sister “attacked” JP and if she is part of Ashley’s wedding party, she’s going to look terrible with all those tattoos!!

Awesome ending – the attraction they felt for one another showed throughout the season – that’s why JP got so many one on one dates. He was her man and she got him in the end. Hopefully, this one will last forever. Ames for the next Bachelor!!
I wish Ben had been kinder to Ashley on the ATFR, it would have ended their experience on a happier note, it will now always be a sore spot. He could have done that for her and been more gracious. It came across as how dare you reject me.
I thought he was very nice to Ashley on the ATFR. He took the high road as far as I’m concerned. She could have been a lot nicer to him imo. I think she was horrible at the FRC and was more worried about her own feelings instead of thinking about Ben being crushed.
Seriously? She’s a b*tch for not interrupting him and letting him go through the whole proposal when she knew before he opened his mouth that she was going to reject him.
Anyone on this show KNOWS there’s the potential for rejection & heartbreak. No one knows that better than Ashley. JP stated that fact all along, but was willing to “put himself out there” indicating how he felt anyway. Ben seemed to “cocksure” about being “the one” altho he was well aware there was still another man in the picture. That’s the difference in maturity. Ben is a nice guy, but it was about Ashley too, not just him. She is not able to “let the cat out of the bag” until the very end as it would destroy the show. I was disappointed in Ben’s reaction. Ashley seemed to be take aback by it too as she had not seen that side of him.
JP is the best for her; their chemistry was apparent early on. I wish them much happiness together.
I also wish Ben the best as he continues to grow emotionally & learns that it is not ALL about him.

Chris, love you, love the show. But no, it was not obvious that JP was the guy all along. I felt like I was watching a true love story between Ben and Ashley. So heartbroken for him. If it was obvious, should the editing not been a little more swayed in JP’s favour? And I also want to comment on what you said about the proposal being beautiful. Um, did you hear the same proposal? It started with something along the lines of “I don’t want to get my heart broken again…” Then I this, I that…nothing about Ashley. I really wish them well. But I feel like even though her sister was very harsh, she should have listened to her sister. It’s like the whole Bentley situation all over again. Tell her she can’t have him, she’ll run into his arms! Even the first time he told her he loved her it was “I don’t want to get my heart broken again…blah blah, I love you.” Wow. Talk about romantic. I think Ashley is up for a lifetime of reassurances. But again, I wish them well. And vote Ben for the next Bachelor!

The producers clearly coached JP to always begin his lines with “I don’t want to get my heart broken again…” so that we’d remember his story arc. There’s not a real moment on this show.

I agree with you, that guy acted nuts when he showed up in Fiji, Geez, standing in the water looking up as she flew over with another man. Pathetic! Reminds me of a STALKER. I don’t think he has enough viewer respect to carry it off. He made a joke out of himself. I swear, if he is the Bachelor, I will not watch.
