While you’re busy tweeting about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2 this weekend, you might want to take a moment and try to summarize the entire Harry Potter series in a tweet and add the hashtag #Potterinatweet. Do so before July 22, and you’ll be entered to win one of two trips to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in a contest sponsored by Wikia’s Harry Potter Wiki, the most-visited Harry Potter fan site on the Internet. (You’re welcome.) If 140 characters won’t cut it (or 125, really, plus that hashtag, see some samples), you can also enter by logging into the Wiki and leaving a comment answering the question ”What does Harry Potter mean to you?” Winners will be randomly selected, but you owe it to Harry to put some thought into it. So far, there have been more than 1,500 entries.
What’s your 140-character or less summary? Mine? “In wonder and war, laughter and tears, have the strength to stand alone but know you won’t have to. Surprise! Neville’s hot! #Potterinatweet”
(Special thanks to Best Week Ever’s Michelle Collins for drawing my attention to the transformation of actor Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom. If you have not seen her photo dissertation, you must.)

star wars only longer and with magic. Harry=luke, Snape=vader, dumbledore=obi wan, Voldemort=the emperor…, only snape isn’t harrys dad.
Orphan child. Not batman. Gets magic.Still not batman
This one wins!
haha best one!
Harry Potty and the Sorcerer’s Magic Wand (OR How to turn your child into a submissive person who accepts that gay people are more powerful than themselves (AND likes it!) )
No one said gays are more powerful than the rest of us, we are all equal no matter our past, ethnicity, sexuality or anything else. If anything Harry Potter teaches us about overcoming adversity, facing our fears and being accepting of everyone and everything.
Probably not gonna win…
Mine: @Vamp_Lanya: #PotterInATweet Epic battle & coming-of-age story set in a magical world I’m still not convinced doesn’t exist. Alas, earwax! #PotterForever
We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter’s the one,
And Voldy’s gone moldy, so now let’s have fun!
Over.
Man tries to a kill baby, fails for 17 years, and dies.
Orut “The best thing to happen to red headed child actors since Little Orphan Annie.”
Somehow “or how about” became “orut”…
LOL – that’s a good one. The twins aren’t real gingers though…but Ron rules.
“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities”
-Dumbledore
That, to me, is the most important quote of the entire series.
Agree – one of the best quotes ever.
Love That Quote! I think I will post it on my classroom wall this year…thanks for reminding me of it.
Seriously, Neville is super hot.
So much word. I cannot get over it.
I know, I don’t even know how to process how hot he is.
Hardly recognized him in the red carpet pics! Holy Longbottom!
“Surprise! Neville’s hot!”
Oh, Mandi. Always horny for the young ones…
I can summarize in one word
“Lame”

Sorry, were you trying to enter the Twilight contest? That’s one page over.
How original. I haven’t heard that one at all in the past 14 years.
It’s leviOsa, not levioSA.
Haha! Regina, that’s one of my favorite quotes! Especially when Ron says it as he mocks Hermione.
My childhood.
I love the “Surprise! Neville’s hot!” part. haha I actually laughed out loud. Yes, that is a very nice surprise. I think I have a new celebrity crush!
apparently wizards don’t have access to firearms #potterinatweet
“A kind of metal wand muggles use to kill each other.”-Still one of my favorite descriptions of an item that Muggles use that wizards don’t.
