If you consider yourself a rabid Big Brother fan (and we know there are millions of you out there), then you probably already know that Dick Donato left the house shortly after the show’s premiere on Thursday. His departure should mean that tonight’s nomination ceremony will be a practice in futility: The house already had its first evictee, and his name was Evel Dick.
Personally, I can’t be more pleased about this surprise turn of events. (Shocker! I find him absolutely reprehensible). But his departure has spawned quite a few online conspiracy theories, namely that he staged some sort of Diary Room blowup and demanded an immediate eviction just so he could use the ordeal to promote his website. Then again, the dynamic between Evel Dick and his daughter Daniele on premiere night was just too uncomfortable to overlook, which could also mean that Daddy-O just didn’t want to spend another minute with a daughter who couldn’t stand him so he sought a quick getaway. After all, Dick did say that it had been three years since he had spoken to Daniele, who turned out to be quite the vision with her blonde-turned-brunette locks. (Hey, even I can muster up a few pleasantries about the Donato clan).
I’m hoping tonight’s nomination ceremony can shed some light on this mystery, even though CBS said we wouldn’t learn the full story until Wednesday’s episode. At the same time, I’m also feeling like the episode may be a waste of time because no one should have to go home if Dick already did. What do you think, BB fans? I wouldn’t put it pas ED to have staged the whole thing to get Danielle to the top 10. I also heard they kicked him off b/c he posted on his website that he was going into the house (which violates the contract)..
ED posted a video on his website as to what happened. He said he wasn’t kicked out for his prior video, it wasn’t about his health or anything to do with his mom, son, or girlfriend. He said it had nothing to do with promoting his website as he could have done that far better and more often being in the house and on the show. He also said it had nothing to do with “helping” Danielle in the game. He also said that it was not anything that he was aware of prior to going into the house and that it was so serious that the producers of the show actually came into the Diary Room to tell him (rather than over a speaker which is how they usually communicate in the DR.) He is respecting the person’s privacy by not saying who or what, but it involved a very close friend, one who’s been there for ED, and that when he was told about it that it “knocked his socks off.” He said that he would never want to leave the house as he wanted to win again, but he doesn’t regret leaving to be there for this person.
Good luck watching it on Wed. since it is on Tuesday and Thursday. Get your facts right if you want to run a website.

Jan I agree, I really could have done without seeing Brando and Rachell right back so soon. Not fair to the new players or the viewers. Really, the two of them are played and lame….
It doesn’t mess up the schedule too much though- there were going to be a couple of double eviction weeks anyway, so all he did was just move one of them up.
I love BB but it needs to come up with a better way to keep ahead of the Internet. If you follow twitter or watch BB After Dark or the live feed you are already days ahead of the broadcasts.
I know, right? I always skim my way through BBAD and everything is done from pretty much thursday thru saturday. They could at least air those portions on the same day or space out the competitions more. It’s kind of a waste…
Seriously!!! Even on a regular week the nominatons, veto comp and veto ceremony have taken place before the Sunday episode airs…. it’s ridiculous!! Also they paint some of the contestants differently on the show than they come off in the feed and BBAD. It’s crazy the way the producers make the show what THEY want it to be despite what it really is.
Granted, BBAD infers the competition results through conversations, but the prime time broadcasts offer original, never before seen content.

Yay! Now I might watch this season. I decided not to watch after seeing this jerk on the premiere. CBS/the producers let him cross way too many lines the first time he was on.
