You’ve probably heard by now (and, of course, spent your long weekend weeping into a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos in his honor): Unlike fellow Read the full post.
first of all. it is ridiculous to blame another actor for ryan passing on chord. stupid. darren has proven that he has a huge fan base and can carry himself vocally. sorry but here is a news flash.. season 2 sucked! if it wasnt for the klaine story no one would have watched. as for mike he has dance talent though he has no story line yet. sam.. come on people be honest. cute, yes. but dull.what story line? he didnt have the chemistry to do the same and kurt story line, quinn and him didnt jive either.. she found him annoying and hated his impressions and everything about him, gone. then santana that lasted not long. so they tryt o put him with mercedes. though i love mercedes and want her to have love.. sam? really. she deserves more than desperate move by writers. sam no longer fits. period. dont blame darren criss for that. give him the credit he deserves. he brought glee fans and lots of money.
I’m not going to be watching next season, so really, it doesn’t matter that much to me. But if I were to watch, I wouldn’t set my expectations too high. From the beginning, I thought his character had some great potential (a closet-geek/nerd just trying to fit in sounded awesome), but they failed to take advantage of that and do anything interesting with Sam. Instead, he got stuck in the Most Boring Relationship Ever with Quinn and doing the occasional, well-sung but forgettable acoustic covers of songs that weren’t any good in the first place. His one-episode story line about losing his house was one of the more touching of the series, but it was too little, too late. I appreciate the opportunity the ep gave him to show some acting skills, but like the death ep, it was obvious they only slipped it in to get some sympathy and distract from how trashy the series has become; at the end of the day, it was really just manipulative. His character never got a real beginning or middle, so I wouldn’t hope for too much of an end.
