Beck followers aren’t the name calliers you are comfortable with in your circles. You made fun of his “presentation style” like as if that’s what his ratings are based on. His “followers” are people like me who already has the point of view and opinion that he agrees with. In this entire article you didn’t criticise the details in the substance of Beck’s message. That’s where EW gets the whole point of Beck’s show backwards. Stick with comments on sitcoms. CURIOUS…ARE you a proud commie?

Is so sick of crazy liberal media. This writer is a jerk. You’re a writer sir so you should have respect for freedom of speech. Its bad enough obama has to be on tv every week ranting on with his BS…I watched glenn beck every now and then and while extreme on some things I didn’t agree with, one thing he was extreme on that i loved was how passionate he was to have an America like we used to. He was concerned about americas future and our childrens future. And as a parent I know you want the best for your children. You want them to grow up with having the freedom to do whatever they dream and not having the government telling them what to do every step they make. Bless you glenn beck for at least having the guts to stand up against the government and asking the tough questions while the rest of us just whine about it and do nothing.

Who doesn’t want the best for our children? Who can’t ask tuff questions? Pointing a finger and drawing idiotic lines on a chalk board with the occassional “hmmmmm???” does not get results. It becomes annoying.

Well, golly gee, Benji, you sure nailed that Beck guy to the wall with your sagacious insights. I agree that his final show was somewhat less than spectacular. But as for your whining that it was a “long meandering filibuster,” what did you expect? The GB Show was an opinion program, and consisted of Glenn Beck’s opinions. If you agreed with him, you watched him. If you didn’t, you probably watched him occasionally anyway. His ratings speak for themselves. Of one thing you can be certain: There was more practical wisdom dispensed on one hour of Glenn Beck than in a decade of his liberal opinion counterparts. But wait! “Liberal wisdom” is the ultimate oxymoron!
