Let the self-loathing commence/continue: Bravo has released a promo for Most Eligible Dallas, the could-be-addictive reality show premiering Aug. 15 that follows a group of six hot, single friends in Texas. There’s Matt Nordgren, the former University of Texas quarterback; outspoken Southern belle Courtney Kerr, Matt’s best friend, who claims to only have platonic feelings for him but finds faults in every woman he dates; Glenn Pakulak, a punter for the Oakland Raiders who has instituted a “two-date maximum” rule after ending a four-year relationship; Drew Ginsburg, a proud gay man who “prefers cars to couture,” has lost more than 200 pounds, and is now looking for love; Tara Harper (pictured), who’s called off four engagements; and Neill Skylar, a single mom with a one-year-old son, a new band, and a longtime friendship with Matt. (“Though Neill and Matt both say they aren’t looking for something serious, the two can’t deny their chemistry,” the release teases.) Watch the promo below. It doesn’t ID Neill Skylar, so I’m holding out hope that she’s the one we’re supposed to like — and therefore said/did nothing annoying enough to be included in the trailer below.

Glenn is the backup punter for the Raiders. Matt was the holder for the kicker at UT and in 4 years passed for less than 100 yards. That’s the best Dallas has to offer?

Hahahaha!!! I live in Uptown Dallas, go out to all the hotspots quite frequently and know 3 of these cast members very well, and Bravo, WHAT A JOKE!!!! These people are NOT the Most Eligible by any means, Courtney Kerr is one of the most boring girls I know, and Matt Nordgren is lying through his teeth when he says he played pro ball. He was THIRD string at UT, and tried out for 3 weeks with the Eagles, but got cut. Glenn is also a pro-reject. At least find some people who don’t have to lie in their bios.

This cast sucks! Especially that Courtney girl. She is the manager of a Sunglass Hut…. come on!! She prob makes 30-40,000 a year… tops! And she graduated from some tiny university in Abilene, TX. And her hair constantly looks filthy. Clearly the most eligible people in Dallas would not be caught DEAD on this show!
I had not planned to watch this show, but got sucked into episode 2 after Millionaire Matchmaker. I went back and watched ep. 1, and now ep. 3. I’m addicted. I find the characters to be interesting, and while I started off feeling sorry for Courtney and not liking her much, now I still kind of feel sorry for her, but find her funny despite her pathetic unrequited love for Matt. Her descriptions of her perfect men are hilarious! The third episode surprised me, because I found myself rooting for all of the characters. My sister and I can’t wait to dish after each show.
All of them… Matt especially is the biggest douche bag! They’re pretty abnoxious and ugly!
