Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s almost summertime. The grass is green, the sun is shining, and the birds are chirping. But who cares about the gorgeous weather when you’ve got Big Brother premiering on your TV set inside? But the CBS guilty pleasure isn’t the only reason to head indoors — there’s plenty of must-see summer TV heating up in the next few weeks. Without a doubt I’m looking forward to Breaking Bad the most.
My five must see summer shows are Food Network Star, White Collar, Drop Dead Diva, Leverage, & The Glades. I will take a look at Suits, and I enjoy Franklin & Bash, but those five are must-see.

The new show I’m the most excited about is Falling Skies. Add in Alphas, Necessary Roughness and maybe Suits (I’m sitting on the fence about that one), my DVR is burning up.

In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Leverage, Haven, Warehouse 13, Covert Affairs, Rizzoli and Isles…and that’s just the returning shows. Add Franklin & Bash, The Protector, Falling Skies, Switched at Birth, The 9 Lives of Chloe King, and maybe Suits, Teen Wolf and Alphas. Plus Friday Night Lights, and the return of Doctor Who later this summer–I’ve got almost as much new TV as I do during the regular season, and I haven’t even caught up on that yet.
Breaking Bad! Easily the best show on TV, I can’t freaking wait for it to come back.
