Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb are the kind of crazy we here at Entertainment Weekly love, but that alone won’t earn them a cover. Still, the ladies from Today dropped by our New York offices recently to plead their case. Watch their visit unfold below. READ FULL STORY »

Should 'Law & Order: SVU' just end already?
The twelfth season of Law & Order: SVU ended just a week ago, but the invincibly popular series has turned completely upside-down in that time. In the wake of reports that Mariska Hargitay would be limiting her time on the show next season, EW confirmed last night that Christopher Meloni will not be returning to SVU in the fall. Of course, the Law & Order franchise has weathered cast changes before; witness the parade of wry detectives on the original series, or the curiously protean Criminal Intent (which was really three series in one: a gonzo procedural starring Vincent D’ Onofrio, a bland procedural starring Chris Noth, and a desperately underrated curio starring Jeff Goldblum.)
It’s a fair bet that Dick Wolf is already auditioning beloved New York character actors to replace Meloni, and the head of NBC has talked openly about seeking someone (Jennifer Love Hewitt?) to take over for Hargitay. But would you want to watch an SVU without its original stars? READ FULL STORY »
Bill O'Reilly has officially given Lady Gaga his seal of approval
Breaking: Papa Bear just might be a closet Little Monster. During the “Pinheads and Patriots” segment of last night’s O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly named Lady Gaga a patriot — apparently, he admired the way the singer chowed down on one of Dave Letterman’s note cards during her bizarre appearance on The Late Show. “I wish I had thought of that when I was on the Letterman program,” O’Reilly declared, looking amused. “I would have done that.” Watch the video below.
Jimmy Kimmel and Boyz II Men serenade Oprah Winfrey
Are you finding it difficult to imagine a world without Oprah Winfrey ruling daytime TV? You’re not alone. On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host got together with his pals in Boyz II Men to serenade Oprah in song form. The name of the song? “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Oprah Winfrey.”
“I’ll miss the way you gave out cars,” hums the quartet, “I’ll miss your fluctuating weight.” Hey, they’re singing what we’re all thinking! Check out the video after the jump… READ FULL STORY »
'The Voice' Battle poll: Which duet was best?
Leave it to The Voice to offer something for everyone. Last night’s Battle Round featured songs from diverse eras and genres, and though the pairings didn’t always make the songs their own, at least they kept us guessing. (Can 16-year-old Raquel really deliver that deep Rihanna note?) Serabee and Dia’s version of “You Can’t Hurry Love” was bizarre — Cee Lo’s word — but Devon and Rebecca both held up strong singing Radiohead’s “Creep,” a true test for any rock vocalist. The trio “duets” continue to feel unbalanced, though Tori & Taylor advanced despite sounding deferential to Kelsey in their performance of “Unwritten.”
But what duet did you like best? Which would you want to hear again and again on your iPod? Vote below. READ FULL STORY »
