Sorry, but Bentley is HOT! Anyone ever think that editing has everything to do with it? So what if he doesnt think she is hot, atleast he is being honest. She isnt pretty! She isnt ugly either. But she definately is not hot! You dont know what they are asking Bentley behind cameras to get him to say what he is saying. Supposedly they asked him about a certain celebrity and thats when he said “I dont give a sh*t about her”…he wasnt even talking about Ashley. Get a clue people….its all the editing. And shame on you Chris for making this guy look like a slime ball when you yourself is worse!

Ashley is beautiful and sweet, which is more than can be said for some of these commenters. Ugly to the core.
Also: William is Prince William to me. Am I the only one who notices the similarity?!
This show is what’s ugly. It started out bad and has now entered the immoral stage. It’s obscene and Chris Harrison is a flat out liar.
No, I see the Prince William–William similarity, except the commoner has more hair.
OH YEAH…. I definitely think William looks a lot like Prince William when he’s laughing. Better hair, but it’s definitely there. Lots of nice looking men this year… well except for one troublemaker who really is smarmy looking.
I totally understand that bentley’s a bad guy… I get that. But she’ll get over it and fall in love and be happy forever…
And meanwhile, you have to admit that his level of deceit and cunning is the most entertaining thing to happen anywhere near this show since Bachelor Pad.
He’s like the Survivor Rob of Dating Shows.
If, as Harrison attests, he was so concerned for Ashley, he/the producers should have told Ashley what Bentley (ridiculous name) was saying about her and kicked him off. Instead, they choose to show his comments cut with scenes of Ashley being led down the garden path. It’s unforgivable of the show (and I don’t even care for Ashley).
And then that douchebag Harrison comes here and tries to spin it like he and the other manipulators are “looking out for Ashley”. How do you sleep at night Chris, you dillhole?
Bentley is hot and all of you are just jealous. Editing has a BIG role in what he is saying. The questions he is being asked to get him to say what he is saying has nothing to even do with Ashley. Get a clue people. This show is a joke…Chris Harrison should be ashamed of himself. How he sleeps at night I dont know. Bentley is a father and word is that he is really ticked at ABC for portraying him as they did. Yeah, he is not the most perfect guy in the world, but he also is not what they are portraying him as. He went and told Ashley he was leaving because he wasnt in love with her….She cried over it because she has some serious mental issues. Seriously….all of you who believe in this shameful editing are stupid!
My take is that everyone involved, including Ashley, knew about Bentley and that the whole thing is scripted.

I hope he is tied to a chair, and is forced to watch when this season is shown to his daughter when she starts dating.
Duh…When he said “I dont give a sh*t about her”, they asked him about some celebrity and that is what he was referring to. Just goes to say that they ask him questions, not necessarily about Ashley and those are his answers, they turn them around and make them seem like he is talking all about her. He isnt the greatest guy, but he isnt what they are portraying him to be. Get a clue!
Ok, anything’s possible, I guess they could patch answers to completely different questions together.
You’re still wrong about one thing, though – and that’s “Bentley is Hot”. Not on this planet, he’s not…

Bentley is the only honest guy on there. Ashley is really not attractive at all and her personality isn’t great. The other guys pretend like she is hottest girl that they have ever seen. Nope. She is a definite “ok face.”
Ashley is a great choice for the show, she is articulate, open, smart and innocent all at once. She is not self-conscious; she is very cute and has a rocking figure. It’s really refreshing that for once the producers picked a group of contestants that can actually speak and not repeat the same clichés and adjectives, “Amazing” isn’t it?
As for Bentley, I am so happy that they let him stay on the show, just like the real dating world, buyer beware. Good people date and marry sociopaths every day; I love that the producers actually get this fool Bentley to show his true colors in the interviews, it’s rather educational, one can learn a lot about profiling the sociopath next door from watching Bentley on this show.

Ashley: Quit saying that your husband is in the room-makes you sound desperate and no guy wants to hear that even if they are on a dating show and ultimately that is what they are supposed to have in mind.
But most of the Bach’s/Bachettes say that.
Thne fact that This shows keeps Bently on only proves rating come first. If a Bacelore expressses no interest and is even in the diary room giving rude crass remarks you remove him end of story. I hate the fact that he leaves on his own and it isn;t Ashley or the producers sending him packing.

While Bentley gives new meaning to the term PIG, Ashley has been through the “drill” and no doubt saw previous shows, so she should have been more leary of anyone, this early in the filming. How can one be so “involved” during the first 2 weeks?
I’m just wondering if Chris, or anyone else assosciated with ABC realized that when they released the cast pictures, they released the Mask’s maskless picture?
Okay, they’ve realised it, and have sense blacked it out. Better without the mask, but not “HOT!”
