As a Carrey fanatic, it’s so hard to determine what his best role is. I think his Cable Guy is severely underrated as well as his role in “The Number 23″ (although the movie wasn’t that great). He was an awesome Riddler and I think his best *comedic role is a toss-up between Lloyd Christmas and Fletcher Reed in “Liar, Liar”.
Although, “Spotless Mind”, “The Truman Show”, and “Man on the Moon” earned him well deserved Globe nominations/wins, I think his best work to date was in “I Love You Phillip Morris”. I think he could’ve been in some series award discussions if the movie were marketed better.

Oh hands down, without a doubt – The Truman Show!
TTS made me a Jim Carrey fan!!!!
How is his role in ‘I Love You Phillip Morris’ not in this list???? such a good movie.
My favorite characters of his are Ace Ventura, Bruce Nolan, & Joel Barish.
