In my opinion, Haley and James should be the top two. They are both so different and something we need and who the winner should be. An example would be Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry. They both should have won in their year but didn’t. I thought Scotty would have been gone a long time ago. I just don’t like him and he rubs me the wrong way. I feel like the preteen and teen girl popluation is taking over and voting for these little boys who don’t deserve it. And don’t get me wrong, I like Lauren but she shouldn’t be in the top two. Neither one of them gives me that wow factor, Haley and James did. I’m just disappointed on who America picked for the top two. Hopefully Haley and James make it big, they both deserve it. And I did not vote for Scotty or Lauren. I really got to the point after Haley left that I don’t care who the winner is.

Why would anyone who loved the wild and wacky Haley or James have any interest in watching the final? The two teenagers are not even good country singers. Why endure a festival of boredom?
In my mind, you can pretty much add the phrase “until a girl wins American Idol” to the list of phrases that includes “until the cows come home,” “until hell freezes over” and “until you’re blue in the face”
And “A non-country singing girl from the North has just won American Idol!” to the list of phrases more extinct than the Dodo.
And “Randy and JLo and Nigel tell it straight.” to the list of phrases that will get you tossed in jail for perjury if you dared uter them in a court of law.

First of all to the person who made the Casey James comment: “Casey James’ actually has talent. I have never seen anyone on AI play the guitar like him. Yes, he is cute. Scotty is cute in a goofy little boy way. He kind of resembles the guy on the cover of MAD Magazine. (Alfred E. Newman) Scotty sings well but he sounds like many other male country artists. Casey James could sing blues, jazz, rock and country. Casey James should have won over Lee.
OH yeah, and Haley should have won this season!
