Justin Timberlake isn’t the first pop star to aspire to be a movie star. There was Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Madonna… and Mozart? In a rehearsal sketch that somehow did not make the broadcast of Saturday Night Live‘s season finale, Timberlake dons a powdered wig to portray the classical composer, a former member of “ze Austrian Mouse Club” who wants to be taken seriously in other fields besides music. Call him a hipster, accuse him of fronting, but do not threaten to abandon him in order to hang with Wolfgang Amadeus Bieber! (Says Mozart of the teen sensation: “Why don’t you just put a wig on a chipmunk and train it to act like a black man?”) Take a look.

Justin Timberlake ‘SNL’ season-finale promos remind us these promos CAN be funny
Is Justin Timberlake already a ‘Saturday Night Live’ all-timer?

Pretty funny! Not quite as good as the ones that were on the show so I can kind of see why this didn’t make the cut, but really he’s good in just about the sketches.
These BS racial stereotypes thrown around so casually keep black people down. How does Bieber “act like a black man”? What the hell does that even mean?
Thank you for perpetuating the myth of blackness and keeping vicious stereotypes alive and well, Timberlake and SNL. Makes me sick.
I betting you’re not black.
the biebs acts like he’s got major swag the way a lot of hip hop and r&b artists do and a lot of those guys happen to be black.
how is that not obvious?
Hahaha this was great. I wonder why they didn’t air it.
My stomach hurts I’m laughing so hard. Most excellent, JT.
That was pretty funny. Don’t know why it didn’t make air either. And can someone explain to me how this works? does snl keep recording when it goes to commercial? does it film for more than the 1:30 hours we see? I would really like to know?
They do a whole taped show right before the live show. It’s used as a rehearsal, to make the final cut on sketches, to tune-up jokes, to check the audion for musical guests, and most importantly, in case something happens with the live broadcast.
okay. that makes sense. thanks jon
What about the skit of the Miley Cyrus show w/ Justin portraying Jimmy Fallon and QuestLove from the Roots? I would LOVE to see that skit b/c it got cut!!
I heard they cut a pretty good Miley sketch too.
They cut a Miley Cyrus show skit? Awww, dang! I want to see that!
They should have cut the Secret Word sketch and aired this instead.
The secret word skit was funny the first time….only…I was hoping for the Target Lady & Peg…
The secret word sketch was funny the first time…only…wish they would have done the Target Lady and Peg…
I too was hoping for some Target Lady and Peg!
My thoughts exactly! This was funnier than some of the skits on the show, ESPECIALLY the dreadful Secret Word. I can’t stand that one!
It’s funny. It’s like the one they did before when they were immigrants going to ellis island.
It reminded me of that sketch as well. The immigrant sketch was hilarious!
Some of the lines were almost the same, but I loved both!
is there a youtube link to this? can’t watch Hulu from Canada…
I can’t believe they didn’t air that!! It was so good!
Hilarious–wonder why they didn’t air that instead of 2 game show sketches?
wish they would have shown this one…instead of using that terrible Gibb bothers talk show skit!
Aww, I like the Barry Gibb Talk Show skit. Timberlake and Fallon are great together. Although, I will admit that last night’s wasn’t one of the better ones. The set and writing was off, it missed the mark somehow. I still love them both, though!
Justin is a dweeb and such an unnatural actor. I always thought JC Chasez was the better of the two.
HaHa, its nice to see some women say that. He’s always tried to hard to shove himself in other media, I’m surprised people haven’t resented him more for it. I do enjoy his SNL’s, though.
Get a life. JC can’t hold a candle to Justin as an entertainer. He’s too nervous.
I thought it was pretty hilarious. I love it when actors make fun of themselves (the “Globe” comment was hilarious). I’ll take this sketch over a What’s the Password sketch anyday…
that was better than the dying newscaster sketch, and I assume the “secret word” sketch (which i fast-forwarded cause I’ve seen it 17 times already!)
