WHAT!! i AM devistated, i loved every episode until the end.
Out of all of the shows that are being cancelled this season, B&S is the only one that I hate to see go. Kevin and Scotty were one of the best TV couples today. The Walkers will be missed.
all i can say is im sad to see the show canceled i really enjoyed the way the show would have you crying one moment and laughing the next.. great show
I loved this show and looked forward to Sunday nights.
I’m so tired of criminal shows with bloody bodies and serial killers. This show warmed my heart and Sally Fields is one of the best actors of our time. I laughed when the daughters and mom were all on the phone telling secrets they were not to tell. It reminded me of my family. This show made me laugh and cry. I even bought the season DVDs. It was nice to have some good family drama that really reflected the way we live. These days, we can’t even turn on the t.v. in front of my grandchildren because they will see violence on programmed shows or commercials at all hours. Thank you to the cast and producers of Brothers & Sisters. You brought class and a great family saga to television.
I totally agree with you. Ozzie and Harriet this was not, more in tune with today’s families. I am proud to say I have never watched a reality show and I am, like you, tired of the cop/lawyer programs. Bring this one back!!!!
Mandi, Thanks for the very appropriate eulogy. I think it’s how most of us fans have felt for a long time. I watched out of habit over the last couple of years, and hoped it would get better again. Goodby Walker clan…Cest la vie.
I thought the finale worked decently as a series finale even if there were a couple of things left unresolved. It was better than the finale of most shows that were cancelled after the final show was filmed.
The show was mostly pretty weak its last few seasons but it had a great cast who were better than the material they got.And Kevin and Scotty were a groundbreaking couple, even if they were a bit neutured in the last season. There was a lot of missed potential with this show but I will still miss some of the characters.
NO!!!!!!! I am so completely at a loss!!! MY FAVORITE SHOW!! NEVER MISSED AN EPISODE!! I even have my DVR set to record the reruns on the Reelz channel!!! By far the best show on tv and now they are taking it away??!!! Ridiculous!!!! I will have NOTHING to watch now!!! Thanks ABC!! you suck!!
Very disappointed that they cancel that show, had great cliff hanger, they are getting rid of all the good show’s, take of the reality show that are on, dancing, singing etc.
Absolutely loved this show. The entire cast was terrific, had that synergy that really worked well. Will miss it terribly….wish ABC would re-consider.
I am furious with ABC’s decision to pull this wonderful show off the air. A quality show, with great writing and actors, and so much better than most of the airhead shows on TV. Stop dumbing down, networks, and bring back clever and well-acted programs. ABC is off my list!
TOO GAY FOR ME
Ahhh I seriously wasn’t positive this was the finale but I got that sense with this final clip. I’m actually bummed! I started watching this show during a tough few months in my life and it was a great escape (plus I watched it rabidly). Gonna miss you Kevin Walker!! (and cute Justin!)
Brothers and Sisters was a show that truly touched my life. It taught me that it was ok to be gay and that life is just enjoyable being gay as it is being straight. It also taught me that families, while they do fight, are the people who you can trust and love the most. I felt like I was part of the Walker Family, and it makes me sad to see the show go. Loved that show with all of my heart – more than any other show I’ve ever watched.
I really loved this show but I do think it could have done better not showing so much of the gayness. I, for one, don’t like to see same sex kissing constantly
Get over it–welcome to the 21st century.
ABC owed fans of the show an announced series finale. I would’ve been fine with this being the last episode, but I wanted to know it was the last while watching it the first time. It is wrong for a network to ask viewers to make a personal investment of five years in one of their shows, and then abruptly end it without advance warning.
