THAT SUCKS! Love the show…what IDIOT decided to cancel it?
they canceled so they can put some bum reality show on probably just what we need
Networks have no clue nor do they care about shows that have any real substance. Brothers and Sisters was replaced with Pan AM. Is anyone watching that show? It needs to die a quick death. TV is getting worse each new season…most of it stupid reality shows. Oh and there’s all the cable stations that show repeats daily. Miss a show? Don’t worry, it will air again tomorrow night, and the day after that, and the week after that, and the month after that. All for $95 a month. I’m switching to streaming fully next month and dropping cable. At least I can control what I watch, some of it is free and if not free, cheaper than cable.
I loved this show but to be fair, it started to go sour after they killed off Rob Lowe’s character Robert. Maybe that’s why Rob wanted out because he could see the writing on the wall. I still miss the show though.
I never even realized that it was going to be the season finale until I did not see it on the Fall lineup. I just thinkg they left it open ended and with no true ending… I was looking forward to the Walkers coming back.
I do like the new show which replaced them, as it is a period piece, but it would have been nice if they actually announced that the season was ending.
I just started watching Season 5, and waiting to find out what happened to the water reservoir that Holly discovered in the Season 4 Finale.
20 minutes in, and this new fortune still hasn’t been acknowledged, and Nora is working a crappy job at a flower shop??? During her retirement years??? Whatever happened to the William’s water well investment??? What happened to the water???
Even though the family was hit by a truck, I still expected this “whole ocean” of wealth (as Holly put it) to be acknowledged. This is really annoying.
Never mind. I saw the whole thing about “The Narrow Lake Deal”, and all the discussion over the money.
My bad. Sorry.

Very sad the show ended, loved every single show and wish it wasn’t over! I think all families have some Walker in them!
The producers of the this show really screwed up when they refused to up the anti for Rob Lowe’s character and let him off the show. Ratings fell after that but everyone was hoping they would wise up and get him back on the show. They should think about reviving the show with Rob because it would be a hit if they did now that Desperate Housewives will be off the air!
I am still in shock about your decision – you choose to keep an aray of extremely distasteful shows on the air with one unbelieveable story line after another. Grey’s Anatomy is one of them. The story line has now become so unbelieveable that you just can’t watch it any longer. But a show like brothers and sisters is taken off the air with no reason whatsoever. Good-bye ABC first the flag pins on newscasters jackets and then this – See ya
Loved the show. It was not as good after Rob Lowe / Robert. I enjoyed all the actors. I totally understand that when a show has a cast of this caliber that they will be there to tell a story then they will move on to new projects. They could have gone on & on but it is always best to leave on a high note. Nothing is forever. I also read that Sally Field will be playing Mary Todd Lincoln…wow…talk about a draining role. Kudos to all involved w/ Bros & Sisses.
